Horrible. Do not do business with them. Booked an appointment for 10:30am to visit an apartment and got yelled/screamed at on the phone because it was 10:00 and we weren't at the apartment yet. We ran there and waited until 10:45 to finally see a dirty appartment that wasn't in the ad. Wrote to the company and never got a reply about their unprofessional behaviours.

Lived there for 1 year - do yourself a favor and don't repeat my mistake. Apartment was not cleaned when I moved in. Run by administration who doesn't care and by concierges who hate their job.. The motto is: if you can get away with not doing something, don't do it. They will say stuff and go back on their word habitually. Their building smells since the stairs are not ventilated and garbage is kept in the basement for too long.

The worst management company of all, just don't know how to manage, even simple situations. The worst customer service, extremely impolite with clients ! A total mess and indescribable bad communication. This is not a management company, it's a company that only cares about higher rents. I could even rate them 0/5. Cynthia, you don’t seem to understand, so let me get this straight so that everybody understands it: You and your so-called company are a complete disaster. Don't even try to reply, defend, or make to yourself a good public image. Your famous emergency number exists only in your imagination. An emergency number should be indicated on your website, clearly indicated, because we need it in case of emergency (right?). But there is nothing on the site. I called the janitor, the one that should know all the procedures but he didn't even know the existence of that number when I asked for it! I repeat: didn't even know the existence of that number. So don’t dare to say and pretend that an emergency number has always been available to all our residents. We were not allowed to be proactive and to call an electrician because they need your approval. So we needed to do something, that's when the next person to contact is no other than... YOU! You answered me after 40 minutes, not 5, and you didn't even cared to respond to my other mail that I wrote immediately after your indifferent and passive reply. So the janitor doesn’t know what to do and he’s not here, emergency number doesn’t exists, you are not replying, we are asked and restricted to stay passive, and the problem continues. In your first mail, you even acknowledge that you were waiting for the right number to call because you didn't even know what this famous emergency number was. The janitor didn't drove back from Quebec only for us, he came back because he simply wanted to go back home. You didn't even apologize in your first mail. So don't try to hide the facts, play the victim, and disguise your behavior as if you acted as a responsible management team. We called the office the day after to know what this famous number is to call it in case of another emergency. So it makes a lot of sense to know what this number is. But the secretary clearly was reluctant to give it to us. Wonder why. You say, ‘tried her best?’ If trying the best means put us on hold 5 times and being reluctant to answer our basic question, plus, end the call with us, well yes it's a great customer service. After all this, your only sense of apology is being formulated in an irony. What a shame. You, your team, and your management have failed, just admit it. Work on it, and don't bother your customers anymore. Once you will change your behavior, you will see that everyone will be very courteous and will show you some positive feedback.

After four years of living in one of their dwellings, we would like to share our positive opinion of Centraux. Excellent apartment, at the right price, and quick and kind response to all our requirements. The janitor in the 5485 Lavoie is fabulous! We are very happy because we are moving to a bigger apartment that is also managed by Centraux.

The ratings speak for themselves. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful ''management'' company. We got an electrical outage in the apartment on a sunday, tried to reach out to the management, took forever to get an answer saying ''please be patient''. We waited for 3 more hours, courteous as we are, to give them a bit of time, but no solution whatsoever. We ended up calling an emergency electrician. Next day we get told to call the emergency number if this reproduces. We call the company asking for that number, we get put on hold for an hour and get yelled at for asking what was that number. And this is only one of many stories... When running a business, you never, ever, yell at a customer, even if he's the most despicable (which we aren't). A total disaster of a company. 0/5 if I could

First of all, look at their rate and all the comments and you will know who is right. Saying nice words in comments is easy; what is hard is gaining customers' satisfaction! WORST experience of my apartment renting in Montreal! AVOID them if you can. And if you cannot, be aware of your rights and do not step back even a very tiny step. They believe they have 1000 tenants who are all happy; however, I do not know where they are so that we do not see such a poor rating. I still cannot believe that in the last 4 days of our contract - when we were not home but we still had some valuable stuff in our apartment - they had entered without even letting us know and by they I mean their painter or janitor who was long enough there to paint the whole apartment. And they risked letting us know only after finishing the painting. We had an apartment with walls thinner than a piece of paper; I could hear my neighbor's cell phone vibrating. Also the floor was so noisy that you could not walk without annoying other. And their reaction: putting the pressure on the tenants. When we obviously noticed our moving out ( just to get rid of this company ), they sent someone to visit and she said it is ready for people to visit (THEIR OWN REPRESENTATIVE). After several visits ( some of which were without prior notice and with their janitor coming and knocking whenever he wanted) they found out it is not easy for them to rent their apartment (with dirty staircases which are usually cleaned a tiny bit when someone is about to clean the apt and poor lighting and ... ); their reaction: threatening us that if they cannot find new tenants, they will get statement from people visiting stating the condition of the apt is their reason for not renting (such a nonsense! Even if they are right which are not and I am open to even sharing photos for anyone doubting, do you really rent any place you visit only since you like the condition of cleaning?) And they threatened to keep us in charge even when we leave! Who does that? To the staff: even if you do not think about other people and their stay quality, at least be professional! You have been one of the worst experiences of my life!!! Please let me know if you need any details and I am open to share!

Very good experience with the whole team! They were very fast and kindly attended to all our requests. I would love to continue living in one of the buildings managed by this company.

Love our new apartment! Centraux and the whole team are great landlords. They are very responsive and get things done. We also met some lovely neighbours who only speak highly of them and the building as well. (NDG/CDN area).
