I had a shoulder injury earlier in the year (maybe from opening the fridge door too often). Through the thoughtful and effective training program at Jimmies, I was able to regain substantial mobility through online classes. My trainer, Dahlia, worked in conjunction with my physiotherapist to ensure that my rehab builds a good foundation towards my overall wellbeing and long term fitness. Sessions are fun and I can be “myself” in them. I would highly recommend anyone looking to invest in themselves to check out any of the online programs while restrictions are in place. I am not from Montreal and I feel like an honorary Montreal citizen through Jimmies. Can’t wait to get there soon!

I can't say enough about this place and the trainers. When I first started I was completely out of my comfort zone and second guessing myself. Madison my trainer made me feel comfortable and was very attentive to my needs and what can help me in the best possible way. Ali and the other girls working there are so welcoming and helpful. I feel amazing and always look forward to my workouts there.

I can not stop bragging about Jimmies. First & foremost in these covid 19 times you will feel 100% safe. I am a person who never liked training with weights & machines until I discovered Jimmies. This is is what you call a fun workout. The trainers( Madison) are so patient & kind & encourage you all the way. You get an amazing workout! After just 4 weeks I can't believe the results. I never thought I would say this but I am addicted. The best workout ever! Also let's not forget Ali; she is always smiling , kind & follows up to see how you are doing. I’ve exercised for years, been fairly active and health conscious, but this approach to strengthening my aging body has truly changed everything. The training at Jimmies focuses on varied, challenging and motivating movements to help build strength, mobility, balance and cardio endurance...exactly what I didn’t know I actually needed!! Thank you Ali for filling a need amongst my peer group, and for finding the perfect trainers to make that happen! Can’t wait to return to your beautiful premises...until then online instruction will get us through.

I am extremely pleased with my online experience with Jimmies. The trainer/coaches are beyond helpful and engaged in the classes. They adapt each exercise to ensure each person can be challenged but successful and not discouraged. Dahlia who leads my classes even followed up the next day by text to see how I was...very nice personnel touch. I started with mobility classes (my comfort level) but have now begun taking strength and conditioning to complement my walking and yoga regiments. I was looking for a gym that specialized in strength conditioning for my age 60+ and Jimmies is a perfect fit for me. Only did one class at the gym before 2nd shut down but look forward to returning one day!

I have trained in many places but Jimmies is by far tops! First and foremost the place is spotless, especially during these trying times. Upon my arrival the first time Ali was at there to greet me. Not only did she introduce herself but immediately introduced me to another client who was at the desk. It was a most welcoming experience. I worked out with Madison who is so caring. She took the time to familiarize herself with my various injuries. Madison adapts my workouts to how I am feeling each time. I look forward to my time spent at Jimmies.

I LOVE working out here!! It’s like having a personal trainer without the high cost of one!! The facility is super clean and sanitary. Ali, the owner is delightful, and the trainers are extremely knowledgeable and professional and super helpful. I am feeling amazing results in just six weeks at twice a week...... improved strength, balance and energy. Highly recommend Jimmies.

Wonderful gym with great facilities. The trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly, and super attentive - especially during multi-person classes. In the 6 months since starting, I have experienced significant fitness improvement and progression (remarked upon by my doctor and my osteopath... and as an aside I have dropped 14 lbs and almost a full size). The gym was also extremely supportive during the lockdown, with virtual classes tailored to a home environment. Thank you, Ali, Charlotte, Antonia and Madison!
