★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my portable HD recovered by icube. HD was 500GB and had mechanical damages. I got a reference from Memory Express to use icube for data recovery.
The process was smooth and icube staff walked me through the steps. They explained to me in simple terms what the diagnosis was and what the expected recovery percentage was. After the recovery was done, there was only 1 file out of thousands that was not recovered, so it was practically 100% in my particular case. I would recommend them if you have data recovery issues.

I had a pleasant experience doing business with them for this job. Their office is located in an easily accessible, professional building along McLeod Tr. S.E.. The people whom I spoke to—from the lady in my initial phone inquiry, who was very attentive and polite; the gentleman whom I presented my case when I drop off the hard drive; upto the gentleman who phoned me to brief me of their progress and quoted me for the job—were all very thorough and professional. I also like the fact that they send automatic emails that informs the client of the progress of the job.
I can attest to their knowledge and expertise of their work, and I certainly recommend them to everyone in need of any digital data recovery.

So thankful I found this service right here in Calgary, where I could go in to talk to a technician and feel absolutely safe in handing them my device for data restoration. I had an issue with a WD external drive malfunctioning and I was mortified at the thought of not being able to access my files anymore. I contacted iCube and they offered me a free estimate. I dropped off my device and they were amazing throughout the entire process! They were extremely easy to talk to, explained every step of the process to me, kept me updated with e-mails, cleared up any and all doubts I had ( I had lots) and they were completely honest about the odds of recovery and possible outcomes. From the greeting and conversation with reception, who handled all my questions, (Im not a "tech" person, so I had a few questions) in easy to understand terms, through the process required with my external hard drive. I was kept informed of what the issue was and corrective options. All done in an afternoon! Definitely the place to go!
Most places customer service has been lost, not so with iCube Development.

Matthew and his team provided a free diagnose quickly and found corruption. They were able to recapture 99.9% of the data. Provided a good price as well on a new hard drive and casing.
