Only one or two workers of this location forget that this is not their Personal property. You are getting paid because People are paying ICBC in different ways . Keep this in your mind and Go to school again and learn how to speak with customers.

Where is the zero star option? 1 star implies that they actually tried. Anyways, another disappointing experience with ICBC. After confirming with an ICBC agent over the phone that I had the required documents I booked an appointment for an early license renewal. Upon arrival I was denied service by the reception agent because she felt the documents were not sufficient despite the information I was previously given by ICBC. This particular agent* had zero interest in assisting me. She simply showed me the door. I had hoped with all the changes ICBC had made over the past two years that their customer service had improved, but I was clearly incorrect in that assumption. ICBC is still more concerned with bureaucracy, providing inconsistent information and retaining robotic employees rather than providing actual services. If BC privatized insurance, ICBC would be out of business within 24 months. *blonde hair, glasses, middle aged

I got super fast walk in service when I went in the morning at 9:30. The lady I worked with was wonderful, friendly and efficient. I’m used to Ontario DMVs and this was way better

I'm an international student, and I had an appointment for knowledge test of driving license yesterday at this office. The agent told me that I cannot take the exam and couldn't have BC driving license because I'm not BC permanent resident, while I told her that I have full-time study permit. So, my appointment cancelled and after asking from head office I noticed that she made a mistake. Therefore, I am not able to take my exam for 10 days. Please justify your employees.

The lady I spoke with about replacing my lost license was very helpful. The whole process from walking through the door to walking out took about 20 minutes. Very impressed. And thank you.

The front-line staff at this location were very friendly and professional. This licensing office deserves 5 stars. The people who work there are not a personification of ICBC. Say what you we will about ICBC, who is all but untouchable at this point, the staff here are just humans trying to survive like you and I.

Zero stars for this location & staff involved Wednesday morning. Had a friend who went to ICBC Wharf st. for his knowledge test (has a Valid Student Visa, study permit, passport and international DL that will be expiring soon) He was DENIED and told international residents can not take the test which is FALSE! (many people have taken it recently)...The lady was unapologetic after wasting his time & denying him the service for NO GOOD REASON. Mind you, he was there a few days earlier (didn't have the right docs & was told by another staff to return with certain docs which HE DID) Staff from a few days ago was there and said nothing. ICBC McKenzie confirmed that he could come to their location and take the test with no problems regardless of being "international" Very awful experience he had early in the morning.

I recently went in to ICBC on 955 Wharf Street in Victoria British Columbia, to complete my learners knowledge test . Upon requested I gave over my Permanent Residency card for proof of ID before completing my test. The staff member then forgot to return my card and I did not realize till I finished my test and was asked again for my card. The staff denied and said they did not have it and that it most likely dropped or was in my pockets despite me looking and showing them it was not. They insisted I leave to have a better look outside. I told my partner and we looked through my belongings again and it was not there. I returned shortly after and received denials and gaslighting from the original staff that served me, insisting they gave it back. It was not until my partner came in for support that the staff member suddenly gave it back as it had been located in her desk the entire time. I personally feel discriminated against as an immigrant, as I have reason to believe they were withholding my permanent residency card deliberately due to its sudden retrieval when my partner came in and expressed his disappointment in the service. I do not feel this person is competent and fit to work in the job she holds as she actively mishandled a core identification document and that is the predominant part of her role at ICBC. I would like an investigation into the matter regarding her competence as an employee as I was incredibly distressed by the incident as that is my primary form of ID here in Canada. The way they handled the situation is disgraceful with repeated attempts to gaslight me despite their knowledge they had made an error. I look forward to your response and the disciplinary action that will be made against this employee.
