β β β β β I have worn glasses for 62 years and have experienced quite a number of different optometrists. I-Care Family Vision & Eyecare was recommended to me three years ago. Dr. Kattan and his staff run a very professional and visitor friendly operation. Dr. Kattan takes the time necessary to perform thorough eye examinations; no rushing. What struck me was the state of the art equipment used for eye examinations. As well as being very out-going, Dr Kattan expresses a sincere sense of caring for his patients. Would I recommend I-Care Family Vision & Eyecare; without hesitation!

β β β β β I have an infant and was eager to book an eye appointment quickly. This clinic was highly rated and able to fit me in on a day when I was able to get child care so I thought I would give it a go. Contrary to what other reviewers have said, I did feel rushed. When I had questions, the doctor took the time to quickly come speak to me again, though I certainly did not have his undecided attention as he had more than one appointment on the go at a time. After a very quick exam, I was sent to try on contacts. I was not able to see well out of each eye individually. As such, the doc sent me back to put on contacts in my old prescription. They were obviously worse, so I was told that since the others were better, they were correct. When I suggested that maybe my eye were different prescriptions (as they always have been in the last 30 years) I was scoffed at and told that they were the same other than the astigmatism. The doc then suggested that I get contacts that were of the prescription between the two I had tried on. Then he left. Assuming he knew what he was talking about (against my better judgement), I purchased very expensive contacts. I now have to squint to see the subtitles on my TV. It is not a small TV. This is ridiculous, and sadly I do not have the coverage for a second exam and purchase within the next year, so i am stuck with wearing glasses that aren't strong enough or contacts I have to squint with, at least until I go back to work. So disappointed in both the experience and the online reviewers apparent dishonesty. The front end staff were very nice, though...

β β β β β I haven't had to wear glasses for 14 years since my laser surgery, so I was not happy with having trouble with my eyesight. However, Dr. Kattan and staff were very accommodating and supportive and guided me to the right decision on glasses. Dr. Kattan took the time to explain and educate me on my eye issues so I could understand and make a better choice for glasses. The explanation of the lenses from the front desk person was also excellent and she was very patient with me as I took a long time to choose the right frames and lenses. As a result, I went back to get contacts, which was also a very good experience as Dr. Kattan again took the time to explain my options.

β β β β β Very Happy! They took their time to get things right, they listened well, and were very helpful. I will be coming back here. Recommend it to anyone with complicated eye problems. Dr. Kattan was thorough and explained things well. I have had to deal with eye problems for 40 years in different countries, and this is one of the best places that I have ever gone to.

β β β β β Dr. Kattan and his team are very helpful and knowledge about eye care and health. The instruments used were technologically advanced to provide the most in depth eye exam I've ever had. My eye glasses prescription was filled on the same day and glasses were delivered earlier than promised. Excellent service from an excellent team. Thank you.

β β β β β First time going for an eye exam in 7 years due to bad experience at another local eye center. Dr.Kattan was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He Explained everything in the procedure and was very helpful. The staff is always friendly. Would definitely recommend.

β β β β β He left my son in the waiting room for an hour with an eye emergency and was rude when front staff tried to explain we were still waiting to be seen. We ended up walking out and went to another optometrist who took him in immediately and the issue actually ended up being serious. Do not recommend him if you want a Dr who cares.
