★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic getaway with family. Updated rooms, great views, fantastic amenities. Staff friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. We upgraded to the Regency Club, which was well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first room we got wasn't clean, but they promptly moved us to a new room that was. They also comped our parking charge due to the inconvenience of having to move rooms.
The service was fantastic, and the room was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was AMAZING!, check in and out was super easy, free upgrade to a corner room, pool and hot tub were great at 5 am, latte was delicious from the cafe early morning. Only complaint was that the shower head was leaking/not working properly so the shower was not that enjoyable. Will definitely be back though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Calgary for one night. Staff was really friendly during my stay. Upon check in I received an upgrade to one of the suites due to my status within the World of Hyatt program, which I was very pleased of! To be honest, it‘s an old hotel and you can see that. The room was outdated, but spacious and clean. I also had access to their club lounge, which generally was nice, but choices of food and drinks were poor! You even had to pay for alcoholic beverages, which in my opinion should be included and complimentary. As a loyal Hyatt customer I won’t choose this hotel again in the future, but I’d rather book another property like the Hyatt Place at YYC airport, where I had good stays already in the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor Service overall. They do not care if you have globalist status or not. When booking for a room, the front desk did not recognize that we were checking us. She rudely asked us to leave without even asking why we were here. Second, we requested a quiet floor when reserving. However, she placed us with the club/gym area where a lot of people come in and out. Third, they did not have any of the tier status that was provide such as slippers. Four, when checking out, we were rudely given the receipt by refusing to confirm my email and handed the receipt in a poor manner. They gave better service to the customer ahead of us. 1 star service for a Hyatt regency was disappointing and expected much better. I guess they do not care if you have status or not, just another cog in the wheel for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at a Hyatt, went for the Regency club access, and absolutely loved it. Great appetizers in the evening in the club and great standard breakfast options. Nice vibe in the Lounge, and kid friendly. Top 5 for hotel gyms I've used. The steam sauna was a bonus, and hard to find these days, it pumps. Large TV in the room and cool vibe in the bathroom. Location is in the middle of it all downtown. New favourite Calgary hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great stay last night to celebrate my birthday! Thank you to all the staff you guys are lovely especially the person that helped me check in-I forget his name unfortunately but you are the best! The staff even gave me a hand written birthday card!! It was super appreciated. Also enjoyed the pool, steam room and restaurant. Our room was great, the tv was huge! Thanks again for a memorable birthday stay!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, with great staff. We stayed in the Regency Club suite, which felt poorly laid out, with two standard bathrooms and a double 'connecting' door in the middle. For one of their ricer rooms, a more thoughtful layout would be nice. The Regency Club is nice for light fare for breakfast and a coffee throughout the day. It's nice that you can get a steamer in the room, and the large TVs are great. Good staff, and clean rooms.
