The service was so friendly and helpful, they helped us pick out an awesome meal. Perogies and sausage? Delicious. Borscht? Delicious. The thing we will keep coming back for? Perogie poutine... SO DELICIOUS! This place is a hidden gem. I'm so excited to come back again!

I had absolutely no idea what to expect but the very nice woman at the front, helped me decide exactly what I needed. I had the Varnky/Kobbassa combo. I am usually not much for sausage BUT LOVE pyrogys. I can't decide what I enjoyed more in this situation. Everything was DELICIOUS. Don't forget to add some sauteed onions to the pyrogys! So incredibly tasty. As a local restaurant owner, I love supporting family ran businesses. I will definitely be back here to try the borscht! Thank you.

They treat you like family they haven't seen in awhile. We had the dinner for 2, which has perogies, cabbage rolls, and kielbasa. Everything is handmade in house except the sausage, which is made on a farm near Ardrossan. They sell their products frozen so you can enjoy at home. If dining in is not your thing but want a hot meal, you can call ahead and they will have it hot and ready for you to pick up. Will definitely be back to enjoy some homemade Ukrainian food!
R	Robert Henstridge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried out Hung Uke on a recent trip to Red Deer. Very glad that I did because it was delicious. I tried the borscht, pyrogy poutine, and the dinner for one. It was all great, the borscht didn't skimp on beets and the pyrogy poutine was amazing. I ended up buying 3 bags of pyrogies (potato cheddar, potato onion, and saurkraut) and Hungarian sausage from the freezer/cooler to take home to Calgary. I attemped to make the poutine at home but it just wasn't as good because I didn't make my own gravy. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu and stock back up on pyrogies the next time I'm in Red Deer. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. You won't regret it.
