They seem like honest folks, as I had suggested some maintenance work based on the service schedule but they told me that it was not needed. I'll definitely be coming back here for routine maintenance.

This review was well deserved a long time ago. Today Mike even took the time to change my tire on his lunch break so I didn't have to do it in the rain. Always above and beyond!

Professional, friendly & personal, Mike always clearly explains what the problem is with the vehicle, and whether or not it is something that needs immediate attention, or can wait a bit. He recently helped get my 1997 Miata's issue diagnosed and back on the road the same day! It's also wonderful to have an exceptional garage that is just a short walk from our house. It's a retro-looking shop from the road and these guys embody those old-fashioned values and ethics. Mike treats his team well and it shows! All of our cars go there and we refer everybody there without hesitation. We had a late model car that we were trying to keep on the road, and Humphries kept it going and running well for a few years, but also warned us ahead of time that the car's time was coming up. On our recent "tow-in", they told us why it was not worth the fix, and we appreciated that. They are widely known and well-respected in the business. Anytime you speak to someone in "the biz" - other mechanics, tow truck driver, parts dealer, wrecker, you say Humphries, and they always say "great shop." They are very good so they do get booked up on the maintenance side of things. We tend to take our cars to other places for oil changes, etc. But if there's anything else, it's straight to Humphries.
