★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful trail with wonderful scenery. I did this a few years ago with my wife as a 2 day trip. We parked a car at porteau and drove back to cypress to start the hike. The first half of the hike is amazing the last 7km are tiring and a bit lacklustre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just finished it. The trail is not well maintained between The Lions and Brunswick. Lots of snow pack block the trail. The view is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Howe Sound Crest Trail is a very popular hike particularly from the South trailhead at Cypress Provincial Park. Expect traffic-jam conditions on sunny weekends. Parking is free at the ski area parking lots, but park outside the gate if you expect your return time will be late. Bring some 10 essentials "equipment insurance" as it can get cold & dark very fast in the mountains.
