Great short hike in north van. We went late February and there was still a lot of snow and slush, so be careful of slipping. Definitely recommend the clockwise loop, as the decent is easy going compared the the ascent and would be pretty challenging going the other way around. Enjoy!

Nice short hike, 7km round trip. Bridge has been washed away but you can still cross the stream by walking on the rocks if you have good balance.

Beautiful forest trail. It can be quite rocky in parts so proper footwear is essential. Brother's Creek bridge is washed out, but it's passable by crossing the creek itself. This is dependent on water levels. The loop can be busy on the weekends.

Beautiful BC surely describes this hike in West Vancouver. Varied terrain with a ton of BC logging history throughout. Views of first growth forest stumps along the entire route remind you of how large and truly breathtaking these amazing specimens would of been. In the fall the trail is quite wet so be sure to have good footwear. Have to mention I have never seen so many water features in one place.

This is a great trail if you’re an intermediate to advanced avid hiker. There’s a steep incline at the start, but you get to some water features along the way to keep you motivated. At the top, there are two lakes, one of which you can swim in, which makes it a refreshing stop. We didn’t end up going to the second lake due to time restraints so I’m not sure if you can swim there. We’ve done this a number of times and it’s especially great if it’s too hot out, and you’re looking for a shaded hike.

Nice trail, mostly steep up the mountain. Tall 2nd growth fir left and right and therefore no views. Bridge at end of trail currently under construction, but you can walk through the creek bed, if you wanted to. We walked slow and it took us three (3) hours.

Great, quiet area filled with characterful old growth trees. As of April 10th 2022, you'll need crampons and trekking poles to continue past the bridge to complete the loop or go up to Blue Gentian — deep, slippery, hard-packed snow beyond the bridge.

Bridge is replaced!!! Had a great time in the snow and rain today (Nov 5). Saw this hike in an article about great hikes for rainy days, and we were not disappointed :) For parking, we only had to go a few houses down from the trail head, but can’t speak to how it might look on sunny days.
