★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came for dinner at Roar and were so taken with the charm of this hotel. Mack was lovely and super informative and not only gave us a tour but explained everything to us. We loved the sunken living room in the front of the restaurant, the bike path going right through the hotel, the retro business area, disco etc. All the staff seemed helpful and knowledgeable and I would book here when we come back next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I stayed in this hotel back in September of 2021, and I have to say, it was spectacular. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was so lovely, friendly, kind and sweet. I absolutely loved how accommodating they were, making sure everything was to our comfort and satisfaction. So thank you again for being so kind to us and for making our stay so lovely. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I and my teenage son loved everything about this hotel. They could charge you just to see their unique and tasteful design and decor. Very comfortable and clean, friendly staff and they offer everything you need. The Roar restaurant was a bit pricey, but really worth it. Make sure you taste the coffee they offer in your room. Just check out the photos on their website and mine here. Although, they don’t make the justice and everything is much better than in these photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a funky, fun spot to stay in Tofino. We called day of and they thankfully had a room available for us right away. Jenny at reception was super welcoming and called our room shortly after check in to ensure we were settling in ok and had everything we needed. Fresh coffee grounds and our milk of choice was provided upon check in so that we could make coffee in the room with the provided French press. Super clean room, comfortable bed, large shower. We had a really yummy dinner at the hotel restaurant - Roar - we actually found our dinner here to be MUCH better than our meal at Wolf in the Fog. Very cool concept and nice to stay in an eclectic hotel that is more lively than your traditional setting but still has the comfort and cleanliness that you want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome staff! Fun aesthetic! We brought our bikes and could ride them through the lobby! Great location, Walking distance to the beach, easy for surfing. Hot tub was amazing for warming up after surf, especially with the view. Even has free laundry available! Will be staying here each trip to Tofino from now on!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool experience. Rooms were clean. Beds super comfortable. Love the bench seat by the window. The sunken main living room was a great place to eat our delicious take out. Hot tub was great. Our daughter (11) loved the secret arcade. The 70s detail throughout made it pretty amazing. Laundry facilities, ice and water machine. Ping pong table and shuffleboard. And a gorgeous little walk to the mud flats. Definitely would come again! Our dog was happy too. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel had all the things I didn’t know I needed. Lots of fun, kitschy, retro details that made this a completely unique experience. A fortune teller den, secret room, and sauna? Yes, please. But behind that funky vibe is just a great hotel experience. The beds are comfortable, the room was spotless, location is great, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating - especially Elsie. From the moment she greeted us Elsie was warm and welcoming. It can be stressful travelling with two pups, but Elsie made sure we had what we needed for them, and gave them some love too - which seemed to make them immediately feel more comfortable in their surroundings. Thanks, Elsie and the rest of the staff for making a one of a kind stay even more special.
