★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check in was great, the woman at the desk was genuine and caring. Room looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean. They even have local soap and lotion in the bathroom with lovely west coast scents. It's true what others are saying - the walls are paper thin, but that was minor for us. Hallway to the room was a bit drab, but overall a lovely property. Great to be right by the water and a short walk to town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ our guide Joe took wonderful care of us on our beautiful sauna tour. we took a boat ride out to a private sauna. we saw bears and seals and eagles on the way and then spent the afternoon switching between the sauna and the other outdoor activities they had to offer. such as the kayaks and paddle boards (and dips in the cold water.) Joe was super knowledgeable about the wildlife and surrounding area and kept everyone happy and safe. thank you !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend and would recommend it! The location was convenient, 5 - 10 minute walk to town, and it's own marina and waterfront views from almost everywhere. Our no-view room, still had an amazing view so that was a nice surprise! The staff was friendly, room was clean upon check in, and the room fan was a nice touch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Resort is nice. Rooms are nice. But the food at the 1909 is not worth paying for. Cold coffee, limited selection. I was locked out of my room at 6am and the guy at front would rather argue with me instead of trying to help me. My husband was out fishing till 3pm and the guy said I would have to wait until he got back. Unreal. Won't be staying here again ever. Not impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved our stay! We arrived well before check in so the front desk person (who was very friendly) told us she would call when the room was ready. She recommended the Shelter Restaurant for some good food while we waited. Great recommendation for both the food and atmosphere. She called us a short time later to let us know our room was ready. Our ocean view room was spacious and bright with a large deck. It was very clean and nicely updated. But, of course the view was the best part as there is so much activity around the marina with the snow covered mountains in the distance. I think I prefer it to the wide open ocean views on the other side. Can't wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay here, though we did only give 4 star due to the fact that one of the front desk staff made zero effort to wear a mask while people were checking in or out...this is terribly inconsiderate.
The location was great, the room was comfortable and clean. Note the restaurant was undergoing renovations temporarily, not a big deal.
Would recommend this for affordable accommodations and just wish the one staff member was a bit more courteous to guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing stay, lovely location, outstanding restaurant and a great group of staff.
We had a 3 night stay at the resort and it was perfect. A lovely room with an amazing view over the ocean to the mountains.
The on-site restaurant (1909) was great, as were the staff.
We also booked a fishing tour at the adventure centre and that was brilliant too.
A big shout out and thanks to Storm in the adventure centre and Jenna in the restaurant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had a small, family-only elopement at Tofino Resort & Marina, and all the staff made our big day a huge success. We were well taken care of, and they all went above and beyond to make us feel special. Our rooms were comfortable, tidy, and there were no problems for our guests checking in and out. They provided everything we needed, such as a clothing steamer, irons, and extra hangers. The restaurant staff provided excellent service and were attuned to the dietary needs of our guests. We would recommend this resort to anyone, and we will be back for sure!
