★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been there several times. Very good selection for a small store. The owner (Jonathan) is a great guy and very knowledgeable. I prefer to support small, local merchants rather than shop at the big box stores or online so it is great to have this store in the neighbourhood. Looking forward to Record Store Day in April.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going there since they opened. I'm now a regular. The owners are great, John in particular, is chill, knowledgeable and helpful. He's helped he find a number of LPS and has found homes for one's I'm not so connected to. Nice, rotating selection of cool new and used. Definitely worth checking out and my go to for vinyl in Burnaby. Note: Due to Covid, they have varying hours so check their Facebook first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a new needle and band for my record player. The prices and service were both good.
A few weeks later I went back to try to find a solution to my record player which wasn't connecting properly. I was directed to try a different configuration and to call back if it doesn't work. It didn't and so I called back and explained what the problem was. Was then told to replace the audio cables, and it solved the problem!
Will definitely go back. Very satisfied with Hooked on Phono!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly, great customer service! Nice selection of various genres, I would say more rock oriented. Fair prices which is always a ++++. Fits well into the character of the Burnaby Heights Neighborhood. Owner just submitted an order for a record and will be picking up in a couple of weeks. Already bought a couple records from here and will surely go back for more. All the best!

I appreciate how the owner frequently posts on Facebook about their new arrivals and new used vinyl so customers can have an idea of what is new in stock. I recently started to have a strong passion for vinyl and I had to visit this store! I love how organized the place is. I could've been looking at the vinyl they had in stock for hours! Such a good selection of vinyl, cassettes, and CDs. Very fair prices. The staff here are also very kind and friendly. The owner has so much music knowledge which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in vinyl and cassettes to visit this store whenever they can! I was so satisfied with my visit and I will definitely be returning. ???
