Noize To Go Records

Great small store near Chinatown. Had a great chat with Dale the owner. He knows his Vancouver music history. There is a relatively small but good collection here. Prices are not cheap, but on the flip side the quality of the LPs I bought were all near mint, possibly unplayed....so prices accurately reflected the quality of the media and covers. There are some awesome Vancouver punk collectables here too. I was tempted! I will return.

A ridiculously large collection of records for sale in a relatively small store - thankfully Dale has an great knowledge of what’s in stock and where to find it, as well as great knowledge of pretty much everything as well.

I was looking for record stores around Vancouver that I hadn't yet visited and I'm so glad I managed to stumble upon this one. The first time I went I was floored by how much cool, rare stuff this guy manages to fit into one tiny shop, and how many original pressings he has that I've been looking for for months upon months, priced very reasonably and possibly even cheaper than the other stores I've visited. I didn't manage to catch the guy's name but he is honest to god the best record store owner I've met yet. When you walk in he greets you nicely and will make conversation without any hesitation, and he clearly knows his stuff. If you ask him if he has any records by a specific artist or one of their albums, he usually responds with "yes" and will help you find it pretty quickly. During my first visit I was unable to find any records by a personal favourite singer-songwriter of mine, and he promised to peek around his storage for any of them and give them to me during my next visit. That was a kind enough offer, but he actually followed up the next time I went! Usually record stores employees will only interact with you if you're at the till, so these were all very pleasant surprises. I've been there a couple times now and this is without a doubt my favourite record store in this entire city. If you haven't gone yet, make sure you do, you'll get great service and some really great records (most if not all albums there are pre-owned, but they're all in very good quality.)

Such a little gem of a shop. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. I stayed to chat for ages and he has some great records. If you are visiting Vancouver, make sure to visit Noize To Go Records in the hood!

Even if i don’t end up buying anything I always have a great time hanging out at this store! The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable, he will also talk your ear off haha Pretty good selection for a small shop as well, almost exclusively used but the owner won’t hesitate to send you to another shop if you are looking for something he doesn’t have.

One of my fav record shops in town. The owner Dale tries to keep prices low as he can, making sure folks can enjoy the music! Super nice guy, always down for a convo! Love this store

I was just walking around Vancouver looking for a vinyl shop I hadn’t been to before and this place had it all. It’s all nicely displayed and categorized and decently priced. The owner is very knowledgeable about things and has many great stories related to vinyl and Vancouver. So if you’re looking for a good chill space to shop in this would be it.
