About Home Medical Solutions
Nine years ago, three local investors started Home Medical Solutions because we saw the need to modify the living environments of our clients while providing medical equipment and supplies. Before that, people would have to call around and look for general contractors that would try and do accessibility-type of renovations, sometimes not realizing there are barrier-free regulations they should follow. We decided to merge medical equipment and supplies with accessibility and Universal Design principles to work with our clients using a holistic approach. This all encompassing approach provides resources and information for every facet, so our clients can maximize their quality of life. We are 100% Canadian owned and look to be the preferred dealer in Western Canada by providing excellent service, quality products, and knowledgeable, highly-skilled and friendly staff working with clients throughout our communities. SInce then we haven’t looked back and are the fastest growing equipment dealer in Western Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a store that is supposed to service elderly individuals or people who have care needs. I phoned in for a part to my mother in law's Pride Lift Recliner as it was no longer operational and my mother in law had to now set her feet up on a kitchen chair to keep her feet elevated. She is 85 by the way. Samantha told me the part would take weeks to get there so I asked her to find out if they would ship air as this is a lift recliner and my mother in law requires it to work right away. She told me she would get back to me the next day, she didn't I had to call her. She told me again she would find out and get back to me. That was a week ago and still no call, no nothing. If I was managing this store she would be let go. Customers pay your wages, just in case you forgot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home Medical Solutions are the people to go to for MANY of your medical needs. David, Alex,Guy, and Carl are all amazing people that bent over backward and did flips for me. A new scooter that I asked for some interesting changes that have not been done before ... they did it. including Motor Cycle Cameras installed, Whip Flag Coffee cup holder Crutch holder Cell phone holder .. and yes ... they did it all and it is Good.

If you need service on any mobility device or aid, Home Medical Solutions has an amazing in house service department. The people in tge service area have been amazing in keeping my wheelchair and scooter running through the years. Even if you did not purchase your equipment through them, they can meet your needs.

We were lucky enough to get in touch with Tyler, who not only answered all our questions but made some suggestions we hadn't thought of. We went to the shop the next day and met with him, he helped us pick out quite a number of items that would help make my fathers life much easier and safer. Tyler was knowledgeable, friendly and wanted to make sure we got everything we needed. He even managed to to send an installer out that afternoon, which was amazing. That leads me to our installer, Cort. He was great, he was very friendly, took the time to answer all our questions, he made sure we were happy with everything he installed, and he was incredibly polite.
Not only would I use Home Medical Solutions again, I strongly recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for power recliner lift chair for elderly person. We made many visits to many places which included this location. After we did further research we remembered that this company had earlier supplied the same elderly person with a walker many years ago (new location threw us off) and we had been very satisfied then. Guy went through a patient process of explaining features, researching the correct size of chair and then ordering the design/style and size that best fits this elderly person. We would recommend this company/Guy to any others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My shower bench needed to be replaced and Alex, in the office, was so friendly and helpful. He arranged for delivery and assembly within a week and Jon/John (unsure of correct name spelling) came to install it and remove the old bench. He was also very friendly and helpful, but why I'm writing this review is how he went above and beyond to help me when he realized that the new bench was missing some extensions. Through some quick thinking and troubleshooting, Jon/John used some of the old parts of the old bench to attach as the missing pieces to the new bench. He even drilled larger holes in the legs so it would latch at the right height for me. It saved him having to come back another time with new parts, along with making me wait to have a proper bench. I really appreciate his efforts and the smooth overall process it took from order to installation. I highly recommend Home Medical Solutions and their entire team. Thank you for putting me at ease and giving me the best solution.
Little tip: When ordering your equipment, just ask that whoever brings it checks to make sure all parts are there before delivery. It saves time and effort because it's common to have interchangeable parts used for different equipment.
