★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have worked as a Healthcare aide for 20 years in both the uk and Canada, for different companies. In those 20 years this is the first employment I have been in that I can say I feel like more than just a number, I feel valued as an employee and appreciated by all. During the pandemic especially we have been appreciated and understood. My home life schedule and routine is understood and worked around. Any issue that arises gets sorted in a manor and straight away. 24 hour advise, care and support. I look forward to continuing my work with my home instead family

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are so grateful for the care that we have received from all of the staff at Home Instead. They have looked after our mother for the last 3 years. It is because of all of these amazing caregivers that we were able to keep our mother in her own home throughout the height of the covid pandemic. They are kind and compassionate and go above and beyond for their clients. The staff at Home Instead are well trained, adaptable and extremely reliable. They have been extremely responsive to Mum’s changing condition, and having such flexibility has been greatly appreciated. We finally had to move Mum into long term care this summer. We kept on Mum’s regular daytime caregiver, Lorraine, whom my parents adore. She is kind and caring and has made the transition to long term care much easier for Mum with that consistency. Lorraine and our nurse manager, Susan, have been an invaluable resource to us with their previous experience in long term care and with the geriatric population in general. My sister and I live in different cities from our parents, which is tough, but we trust that Lorraine and Susan are always there to help out Dad. It has given my Dad great peace of mind to have the Home Instead staff to help him navigate this new journey. Lorraine continues to cook, clean and help Dad with laundry at home. The Home Instead staff have had to handle a few stressful situations with Mum. They are always on top of her care needs and have always remained calm and professional (this includes back-up staff and schedulers as well). They are a lovely group of people at Home Instead and we cannot say enough good things about them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home Instead has been supporting my mother for more than 5 years starting when she was living in her own home and continuing companion support in long term care. They are very responsive to changes in her needs and schedules. The online updates for every visit are very helpful for us to help her to recall her day. When we have had to change caregivers they are very careful to find a fit for my mom and check with her for that fit. We have had last minute changes and external appointments that we needed help with and adjustments have always been made quickly. My mom treasures her relationship and time with the caregivers. I appreciate the caring companionship she enjoys and the top quality service that we get from Home Instead. I recommend Home Instead without reservation.
