About Us

Founded in 1997, All About Seniors has always taken pride in providing more than just caregiving services. We are dedicated to improving our clients’ quality of life. We proudly provide Compassionate Companion Care and Home Care Services to Calgary seniors living in any environment, whether that be at home, assisted living or in full care facilities. Through interaction with our incredible caregivers, our clients experience enriched lives, improving their happiness and the peace of mind of the families who love them.

We believe in creating meaningful relationships with our clients and their families by employing caregivers who are emotionally available. We strive to know the individual needs of each client, respecting who they are and who they were prior to their needs change.

We also understand that our credentials are important to you. All About Seniors conducts Police Clearance checks, personality screenings and job qualification interviews on all our caregivers. Our leadership team provides continuous coaching and mentorship to staff members throughout their tenure.

We understand this journey can be overwhelming. With 20 years of combined hands-on experience, our office staff are here to support and listen. Each and every All About Seniors staff member is provided training and ongoing education from licensed educators, certified by the Alzheimer Society of Calgary. They are trained to work with concerns common in seniors, including Alzheimer’s and other forms of Dementia.

All About Seniors is trusted by the Calgary Court System’s Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee as a valuable part of the care team with their clients.

T	Theresa Watson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to bring my mother-in-law to our home after the COVID pandemic hit the nursing home she was living in. We had no idea how much care she would need. We called All About Seniors and they were at our home the very next morning to help us make arrangements for her arrival and assess what was needed. Once she arrived a personal care worker was here immediately to help along with a nurse to do an initial assessment. Everyone was so wonderful and accommodating. We started out needing 24 hour care and transitioned over about 6 weeks to managing on our own. The care worker that lived in our home was patient, compassionate and kind to our senior and helpful in our home. Any questions we had were immediately answered by the on-call nurse. All About Seniors was literally a life saver in this most difficult time!

It has paid off, Maggie enjoys her visits with my uncle Martin and he really looks forward to her visits. I highly recommend All About Seniors as a company that not only helps with the residents needs but more important cares about family members that are facing challenges in dealing with issues regarding care for their loved ones.

From my first phone call with Lynn, to the intake meeting with Lynn and Michelle, to the team of round the clock workers they placed with my pallative friend, these guys have proven to be top notch! The care and compassion and genuine concern each and every caregiver has shown my friend at this time is something I will be eternally grateful for. Their daily updates make my heart happy, as the days I cant be there I still feel so very informed. What a lucky day it was when I found AAS... they really are all about seniors! I had been with a different care company for over a year and I was not really happy with their service, constant changing of workers and their all about money attitude, So I decided to start looking to change my friends care providers. I am so glad I did. I am thrilled with All about Seniors level of professionalism, not to mention quality of care my friend receives! I sure wish I would have found them a year ago. I know thanks to these Angel's my friends last days are as comfortable as possible and he feels surrounded by love every moment. Nothing warms my heart more than coming into the house and seeing his caregiver just sitting there gently holding his hand and chatting softly with him, and him looking peaceful. If you ever find yourself needing to hire senior care, I highly recommend All About Seniors

I contacted All About Seniors and in short order, Lynn set up a meeting with my mom and I. Shortly after that a lovely visitor was matched to my mom and began to meet with her twice a week. My mom loves her visits and it has been a great relief that someone is able to be such good company for her. All About Seniors has been so easy to communicate with and they are very responsive to questions or changes in the schedule. I am so appreciative of this service. My mom just turned 91, and lives on her own. I think her independence would be compromised were it not for this service.

I had to find extra care for my father as the long term facility was not providing what he needed and companionship for my mother after my dad passed. Rashi and Maggie were the companions and absolutely amazing. Thank you Lynn and company.

We had some lovely caregivers through the six full time months with this company, but often we found these caregivers to be changed out for others once they started to settle in. The advertised light house keeping needed constant discussions. The fact that this company required 2 people for diaper changes and hygiene needs for a pallative bedridden client was a suprise to me. What made me drop my rating however was when I asked about whether the staff was vacinated against covid. AAS refused to ask their workers if they were vacinated. Given the fragile health of anyone requiring a caregiver I still feel this was not an unreasonable request. At 930 pm I was told that because of MY questioning the vaccination status the next mornings worker was not comfortable coming in to work. Therefor we were left high and dry with no care at all for a bedridden client less than 12 night time hours later. Thus my 1 star review Thank you

Lynn Cannon formed this company 25 years ago and has yet to franchise AAS. The matching of the caregiver for our Mom was carefully considered by the owner herself - knows her staff! During a crisis one weekend, both Lynn and her Director of Nursing made themselves easily to provide the appropriate compassionate attention for Mom (and advise/direction) and her family members! Keisha who worked AWAKE shifts was awesome and we appreciated her experience in palliative care and kindness towards our Mom. She quickly became like a member of our family during this difficult transition. Thank you All About Seniors. This is a company that due to how it is managed from the top, would be a company I would want to work for! Bravo and in gratitude, The Wolfe Family.
