It was OK. Had the stuff I was looking for but about 10% more expensive than Home Depot. I had purchased the exact same product but the local HD was out of stock and I wanted to.fijish the job. No staff on the floor to help so not a great customer experience.

Great range of products and outstanding customer service. I had a situation where I received controversial opinions from other stores, requesting me to order a particular part for my job..they staff at Rona just solved my issue only by sharing their knowledge without trying to upselling me an unnecessary part or story.

( in response to the review left by Courtney L) This review isn’t for employees but rather CUSTOMERS. I can’t believe how INCREDIBLY entitled and SELFISH a “customer” I witness yesterday was. The store was CLOSING, The employees were physically locking the doors when an extremely rude and aggressive couple practically barged in and DEMANDED they buy one single piece of wood. beyond entitled. I’m not sure if these people are just so incredibly privileged that they don’t realize how closing a store works, but the employees have shut their registers and cashed out for the night BY closing/door locking time. They have clocked out and aren’t getting paid. NO STORE IS OBLIGATED TO CHANGE ITS WORKING BUSINESS HOURS FOR A “CUSTOMER.” This couple argued with the two young women as they were trying to go home. The customers were 100% being SELFISH and not listening to the employees trying to calmly reason with them. If you have a problem with a store employee YOU MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THE STORE. You don’t state the employees attire and vehicle. These customers were FULLY HARASSING the staff. Even going as far as to name the model and couple of their car? The most DISGUSTING behaviour I’ve even seen from grown adults. These employees are people too and they are NOT obligated to accommodate your mistakes. So far out of line.

Built a planter box today and needed one more piece of 1x8x10 spruce to complete the pattern. At 7:59 arrived at the store. I had previously googled to check that the store was going to be open till 9 today and not closing early. I didn’t think so because I didn’t remember seeing anything posted anywhere about closing early, neither did my partner. When we walked up an employee was locking the doors and curtly said “Nope, tomorrow” when asked if we could come in and buy one more board. But then, a second employee in bike shorts walks out and (astonishingly) immediately barks “Tomorrow! Be considerate of other peoples time! YOU’RE SELFISH!!” While storming by and goes and hops into her silver Mazda. Im not saying that the store should have been opened for us. What I AM saying however, is that in my line of work if I spoke to a customer like that I’d end up on the news. Customer service and store reorientation? Bogus.

Went to use the bathroom because it was the closest place and it was an emergency.. when I came out I had staff accusing me of stealing!!! I walked straight in, straight to the bathroom and straight out... They made me empty my bag and saw I had nothing and still told me to never come back to the store. Very poor management and very very poor customer service. I will never tell anyone they should buy anything in that store whatsoever, because you may get wrongfully accused or even searched! Unnecessary.

I wanted to like Rona. I worked there briefly - it was supposed to be my “retirement” job, since I know so much about home renovating. Instead, what I discovered disappointed me. When I was in training, a customer tried to find a chain for his cordless saw that he bought at Rona. He was told to go elsewhere. As soon as he walked away, my manager in the seasonal department started to trash talk him - four letter words - for no reason! The computer system is DOS and finding anything in the store was hard. If it was on a shelf, it was next to impossible to find a forklift operator to help. Eventually, I was not able to manage lifting and placing 100lb patio umbrella bases so I left/ was let go, even though I would have been useful in another department. The last straw was trying to get my T4. Not only did it not arrive, but many calls to the back office, up to the store manager went ignored and unanswered. I had to go to the store to get a response and someone finally gave me a number for head office. Even when I lined up customer service, the group of employees behind the desk were unresponsive to the growing lineup and in fact, closed the door to the back so they could ignore it. When I got home I called the associate care centre, they solved the problem in 10 minutes. As far as I can tell, at this store, they have zero interest in supporting their products, customers or workers.

Always love shopping in Rona, super helpful staff. Yesterdays we shopped there for lots of items for our bathroom Reno and Kathy was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to help us with deciding, find the items we are looking for and gave us so much great advice and made us super excited for our bathroom reno. We will be coming back for the rest of the items we need and will be looking around for Kathy to help us again ❤️ Also, the girl in the cut shop is also amazing! (I don’t know her name). Always so helpful cheerful ❤️ LOVE shopping at The Rona in Kelowna.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but the customer service today was unbelievable. We take our 1.5 year old St. Bernard cross into your store on the regular for training (which we think is awesome that you allow dogs!! It’s a fabulous place to train). Today we had a bit of a medical emergency while in your store. Our dog went rigid, feinted, and started to throw up. Gerrie (she was in the plant area) rushed over to us, and immediately began to assist us. She was incredibly nice, and went above and beyond what would have been expected. We just wanted to say thank you so much, your employees are wonderful. And hats off to Gerrie for her amazing customer service!! We will definitely be back, and hopefully will not be puking in your store anymore :)
