★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super lovely and helpful staff, approachable doctors with all the latest info about eye health. No pressure ever to do one thing or the other . Tons of time in education . They do have an awesome optical store but zero pressure to get anything there.
From the time you walk in to the time you leave , you’ll feel supported. Love this place .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been wearing eyeglasses for 55 years, and I've had eye issues over the years, so in the past eye appointments were stressful. That's changed since I started going to Hollyburn. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Dr. Avinashi is very patient and caring, takes his time to explain things to me, and is always reassuring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best experience at an eye clinic to date. All the staff were extremely helpful and Dr. Prpic made me feel very comfortable voicing my concerns and how they were affecting my day to day life. I would recommend anyone to him and Hollyburn Eye Clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Hollyburn eye clinic at the recommendation by another clinic when I was looking to see someone for an urgent care visit. It was nearing end of day but the staff at Hollyburn took the time to listen and fit me in that day. Everyone I met was kind and helpful through out all my appointments, never felt rushed at any point.
You can tell Dr. Prpic is passionate about his work. He is thorough in his assessment, explains things well and friendly. It was refreshing to feel heard.

They work as a team along with the doctors. They have a very good selection of eyeglass frames and very good products. Highly recommended!

They were responsive and quickly answered my question. I really like it when everyone is professional and not pushing you to book an appointment just to get some more money out of you.
Kudos to Hollyburn eye clinic staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased some glasses from this place about 6 months ago and they are by far the worst glasses I’ve ever had (20 years of prescription glasses). For some reason when I purchased the frames no one told me that the bottom section of the lenses were going to be SUPER disproportioned as opposed to the top section of the lenses.
They had offered to thin my lenses (for a charge of course) which I always opt into when I get glasses because my prescription is fairly strong (not bifocal strong). Then when I had received the final product immediately you can notice that the bottom lenses are HUGE in comparison to the top of the lenses (they advised me that the tops of the lenses had been thinned out but they had to keep the bottom section thicker to hold up the way the glasses fit on my face).
Since then I’ve had nothing but issues. The lenses kept popping out of the frames or the screw would pop out randomly during daily wear. Now today the screw snapped completely clean so I can’t even repair them. I’ve brought the glasses in and voiced my concern about the thicker bottom section of the lenses and was told that’s how the glasses are designed and that thinning out the bottom section to match the top would be risky and might damage the lenses permanently. They advised that I would be solely responsible if the lenses scratched while they attempted to thin them out for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time eye exam for our 9yr old daughter (did you know you get one free a year through the BC government?) and it was an amazing experience.
From the moment we entered and were greeted with a smile and a really professional check in, through to the doctor who led our daughter through the process and was so friendly and supportive.
We needed glasses and the process there was open and nothing was out of scope. We could try on as many sets as we liked, no rush, great experience all round......that and the $99 discount for children meant we didn't have to pay for the lenses, only the frames.
Highly recommended!
