I called three other clinics beforehand and was unsuccessful. I showed up to the High Street Eyecare Center with no appointment and they took me in immediately. I waited no longer than five minutes until Dr. Gill was able to assess my eye. I knew as soon as I met her that I was in good hands. She was the most kind and professional doctor that I've ever met. Dr. Gill relieved my pain and identified the issue. I was referred to a specialist and prescribed medication. I left the clinic feeling relieved and reassured that my eye was going to be okay. I HIGHLY recommend the High Street Eyecare Center for anyone who requires quality care for their eyes.

He noticed the optic nerves were quite swollen, which can be quite normal for a number of factors, but he did an emergency refferal to an Opthalmologist to rule out any other underlying causes. It turns out I have had a large accoustic neuroma growing for over ten years. No other doctors have ever caught this. I am extremely greatful to Dr. Sian and his team at Highstreet Eyecare. ORIGINAL* The first impression was great, you can tell they take their cleanliness very seriously as the receptionists clean wherever the patients touch. The receptionists are very kind and clear, and make you feel comfortable in their care. One of the receptionists went above and beyond and took the time to book and write down the details of my next appointments with a specialist. Doctor Sian is very clear when explaining his findings, and ensures all of your questions are answered. He takes the time to make sure his patients understand and feel comfortable in his care. Will definitely be returning to Highstreet Eyecare!
