β β β β β Lackluster experience, was quite disappointed. The only good thing was friendly staff, and dine in is open. If you see the 5 star reviews, it's mostly given by people who have only 1 review (which is for this restaurant). Hmm.
The fried chicken was dry, not juicy. Soft, not at all crispy and was lukewarm. Asked for spicy, and it was completely bland. Two customers after me had the exact same experience, and probably the dozen or so delivery orders that happened when I was there. I was there for more than 30 mins and I didn't see or hear the sound of anything being fried, which was strange. It seems they batch cook a big bunch and then just keep it heated. Unlike Church's or KFC where the frying is on continuously.
The quantity is also quite low for the poppers and other dishes, considering the price. With a strong competitor like Win Win literally right across the street, this chain needs to get their act together. The food cost $20 which is quite on the pricey side. House hot sauce was good but the honey mustard was too sweet.
Washroom available but tables were not cleaned. Bill not given unless asked for.
This place really makes me reconsider my decision to support a local Vancouver chain. All said and done, American franchises are the best when it comes to fried chicken - speed, quality, and quantity.

β β β β β Probably the worst chicken burger Iβve ever had.
Hardly a flaccid chicken strip between two buns.
I paid 9.45 for a chicken burger that wasnβt even half chicken!
On top of that I received a Warm pop to wash my condiment burger down.
The sauce selection and quality was awesome.
The wedges, also great.

β β β β β I stopped going there a year ago when they messed up almost all the takeouts I and my friends ordered. When we got back home we never had what we ordered. Recently I visited the place to check, guess what? it's worse than ever. Now they ask extra for wedges on the side and now you have to order Onion rings separately for unreasonable price! And this time I ordered for dine in and guess what I got? Old burned oily crispy chicken. I don't know why people are still coming here where there's Church's Chicken as a far far better option.

β β β β β The sides like mac n cheese nuggets, deep fried pickles, jalapeno poppers and munchers are very tasty snacks, and the apples pies and fries are quite good too. However, taking away one star for customer service. The cashiers spend a lot of time chatting at laughing with each other while even ignoring customers who are waiting in line to order. They got my order wrong today because they were joking around with each other instead of paying attention while packing the food.

β β β β β So disappointed with the smokehouse bbq sandwich. Can barely taste the bbq sauce and the chicken is barely there for 9.45! Would not recommend and will definitely wonβt order again. I posted a picture as well what it should look like and you can be the judge.

β β β β β Just ordered from Hi Five - was having high expectations, as they have been consistently good.
Shocked to see this under-baked style of chicken served to us (the skin was not even slightly charred).
The skin had the texture of a boiled chicken - wonder if that's the standard quality? ?

β β β β β I saw that High Five Chicken is now offering breakfast so I decided to order a few items
- Blueberry Muffin
- Waffle with Chicken
- Apple Fritter Donut
- Tot Poutine
All items were decent for a fast food place. I found all food to be pretty good.
The Tot Poutine should've came with the Gravy in a separate container. Instead they added the gravy at the restaurant, by the time you receive it, the gravy is soaked into the tots.
The Waffle Chicken comes with maple syrup gravy. Its an interesting combination, both rich, salty , and sweet at the same time.
