Hi everyone sorry for the inconvenience but we just need to shut down the shop until further notice. We had a family emergency and had to run to the hospital. Hopefully we can reopen as soon as possible.

Awesome place for bbt and Taiwanese eats! The milk tea was smooth and the Taiwanese fried chicken was great. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was also very tasty especially for the price. Solid recommendation.

This place is so good! The owner works really hard and she's ALWAYS there making quality food with love. The atmosphere is so comfortable and welcoming, and the food brings you back home to Taiwan. If you enjoyed TenRen's Tea Time that was previously there, Happy Tea is a HUGE step-up. Their pearls are sweet and chewy, and the drinks are made quickly. The service is also really great too! You can go there to study and chill with your friends, and it's open late hours for your undying need for bubble tea. Needless to say, the new owner makes awesome food that's fresh and largely proportioned. I recommend the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup and any of the fried chicken items. The calamari is also really good as well as the all of the bubble teas! Come support this small, local restaurant and I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.

Great little family owned business with a good selection of food options. We loved the taiwanese beef noodle soup but found the prices to be a bit high. My kids both enjoyed their wonton noodle soup.

EDIT (April 19, 2021): I went in upon the owner's kind offer to give Happy Tea another try. I tried the taro coconut slush with lychee jelly and the original milk tea. The original milk tea was good, though the taro coconut slush did not tasted well-blended, unfortunately. The drinks themselves are worth 3 stars, but the excellent customer service earns an additional star. They are a good local business - worth trying. -- Went in for the first time and tried a jasmine milk tea. The drink practically tasted like ice water and sugar with a splash of milk - quite depressing. Most tea shops will remake your drink without question if you are dissatisfied. Apparently, they are only able to add to your current drink (much less sanitary in a COVID world). This would have been fine, however the girl that was working admitted that the color of the milk tea didn't look right which she told me meant that the person who made the mixture did not do so properly (however, she didn't care to remake it or mention this when she gave me my drink??). Seems that if you can admit you have a quality control issue, you should also be able to remake a drink... Too bad since they're in the neighborhood and I would've been a frequent customer. There are way too many bubble tea shops in the area to waste my time or money here again.

This use to be TenRen tea time, but is now the new Happy Tea. It is a noticeable upgrade from their predecessor. They did some renovation and made the place more welcoming. The pricing is on par with most bubble tea cafe. My drink was good and better than when it use to be TenRen. The three appetizers had good flavours to them. I had to take a star off the review for the mince pork on rice. I found the rice was a tad mushy, and mince pork of low quality. The rice might of been a one off mistake, but hopefully they will use better quality pork meat. The food and drinks came out hot and quick. Onto the service side of things, you have one menu on a table, so in a larger group you may need to take additional menu from the other tables like we had to do. Hopefully they can address this going forward. It also would be nice if they added daily specials or a seasonal menu to expand on their offerings. You have a sign at the table to order at the counter, maybe to keep operational cost down. The employee at the counter was friendly and went over the order to ensure that it was right. She also checked up on us after we received our food and drinks. Overall I see myself returning back and hopefully they can improve on things as they are just starting out and I can give them 5 stars. Tried it today. Oolong bubble tea was good; just as good as other chained bubble tea places. Really enjoyed the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. It had great flavour and the beef was very tender! Boyfriend really liked the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Will go back for sure.

Never again... took photo before we had a sip. It was so diluted and pearls were not chewy but slightly hard. The indoor sitting is still closed... and it doesn't look clean inside. I don't recommend this place at all. Just drive a few minutes and go to gongcha near by! So sad that it was this bad...

It was absolutely atrocious and the bubble tea was so bland and disgusting. I found a TOENAIL in it and was absolutely shocked when I did. If you like this place you clearly haven't tried any decent bubble tea and are WHITE. Service was so bad, I found an employe smoking and "making friends" with a RAT in the kitchen and was flabbergasted. It also took them very long to deliver my food and once I picked it up, the cashier rolled their eyes at me. Never going here again and I advise you don't aswell.
