Chloe’s nails & spa - Calgary

This is the first review I have ever written.. I am extremely disappointed about my last service here. Keep in mind that I have been a loyal customer to Chloe Nails for 3 years. Dan is my original nail tech who I adore so much, I have nothing but nice things to say about her. However, Anna who is the manager of the shop was the one who helped me last. I booked an acrylic nail fill 10 days ago. During this service I showed her a photo of what design I wanted. It wasn’t too intricate. I asked Anna if she had the colours and she told me I had to look for it. It was so impolite but even then I looked through what felt like 100 colours. I figured out later on that she didn’t feel comfortable doing the design I wanted. She told me she’d try. I felt bad and told her “it’s okay, I’ll just get plain black nails” during this time there were people coming in who had bookings.. I felt rushed through this service and completely disregarded as she was helping two people at once and they were waiting for her to be finished. Could you imagine if I wanted the original design? But to sum it up.. the black i asked for are a dark blue in the light. She told me “it says black on the bottle.” I said “they don’t look black, but you know what it’s okay.” I left the shop because she was already helping someone else and I would’ve had to wait until she was finished to get a colour change.. Only 10 days later one of my nails is already broken. My real nails aren’t glued properly to the acrylics and the top coat is faded and gives it a cloudy film. I came back into the shop to get them removed and she says to me “it’s $20 for removal” I was taken aback by her response and told her that I actually want a refund on my last service and that I was extremely unhappy. She started to defend herself and tell me that I’m really picky. She continued on to say “if you’re not happy then go somewhere else.” I’ve never been so appalled by a “business” before. Especially from the Manager of a business. I have been going to Chloe Nails for 3 years. I have built such strong relationships with the people here and I have always been happy with my service. I don’t need my nails done but I’ve stayed loyal because I genuinely wanted to support them. So to be treated the way I have. It’s completely uncalled for. Anna’s last words as I walked out the door “thank you, never come back.” The whole time I never raised my voice. Never acted out of character and this is how I was treated.

I didn’t give them a visit yet ! But I called and had couple questions and they were very nice and helpful to me

I went for a pedicure. They were in a rush. They did not follow the steps for a proper pedicure. They just applied scrub and told me to put my feet in the water. I kept telling the girl who was not able to understand English at all that she need to remove my dead skin properly which she clearly did not. I agree that I did not have an appointment I was a walk in and if they were busy or had any appointments booked they could have told me to come some other time. When I left I called them that I was not happy with service the lady on the phone was rude and she said come right now but I had to get to work and wanted to book some other time but she kept saying come right now. I was not looking for a refund. I paid $42 and I expecting monies worth. I will never go back to them and I do not recommend this place. Please avoid this place if you can.

They were awesome! They were all so nice and made sure that I got what I want. I could tell they really cared and took their time to make it perfect. Will definitely be back

They did a French manicure that looked like a 5 year old stuck press on nails on me … super unprofessional. There’s dust bits under the acrylic gel. Didn’t even cut my cuticles or anything, super rushed, and rude when I said this isn’t what a French manicure looks like. Might as well go somewhere better in that plaza. Do not reccomend.

I had been going here for many years but my last encounter with the manager was terrible. She was being super rude and did a rushed job at my nails, even nicking my skin with the electric file a couple of times . They were different lengths and they were medium length at most, but she was saying they were long and trying to charge me for "long" nails. In the middle of my service, she went and helped a walk- in which is very unprofessional, so I was just sitting there for 10 minutes with not even half done nails waiting for her while she waxed someone's eyebrows in the room. These people overbook and overcharge. Definitely would not recommend!

I love this place! I have never had to take an appt here. It's been very convenient to just walk in based on my busy life and be taken care of without waiting a single minute. The staff is very friendly and always do a great job on pedicure! Love the massages/hot stones/hot towels ☺️. I have been going here for many years since they opened and their quality has never changed.

This is my first time at this salon, and I love it! My nails are so pretty now, I love them! I could tell that the nail technician really took her time with my nails even though it was busy. The owners are super nice as well! I’ll definitely be coming back?
