Matt Jones came out this morning to install a Reverse Osmosis drinking water system in my home. He answered all of my questions with ease, he’s obviously very knowledgeable. He protected my flooring by putting down a carpet runner - which is very thoughtful and unusual! He was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Enercare for the product and Matt for his amazing service!

Gary was exceptional. He came and put a new shut off valve on my main water pipe. He also put in hot and cold water shut offs in my upstairs bathroom. Gary was very professional and proficient. Hammond is definitely the company to call for your plumbing needs. Staff is very professional also. Thanks for your great service.

Encouraged by good reviews I made appointment to fix some small faucet leaking. I even considered to buy their protection plan. Unfortunately they have policy that technicians before appointment call from unknown or private numbers to protect their privacy. To protect my privacy I blocked this kind of numbers years ago to avoid scammers or frauds. So far technicians from any other companies (fireplace service, cable service etc. ) had no problem contacting me before appointment so I gave up on Hammond Plumbing & Heating services before it started

I called to discuss the discrepancy between the price I was quoted for the diagnostic charge, and the amount that was written up in the invoice that was left. It took me over half an hour and had to speak to three different service agents. Hammond would do much better to keep their personal service and not keep their clients waiting such a ridiculous amount of time. Plumber Matt Price was excellent-5 stars for him.

I hired Hammond Plumbing three times within the last two months, and I will hire them again when another problem arises. Each time, Jim Hoekstra, the service manager, responded immediately and I received service soon after. The men who completed the first job, replacing leaking gas pipes, were polite and professional, and after they were done, showed the finished job to me and also explained why the new pipes were relocated. Maurice, who completed the second job, a toilet leak, also was polite and professional and left the work site clean. My latest experience with them was when they installed a new gas line outside for my barbecue. Jim sent Rob D., Troy D., Steve T., and David D. who worked hard and efficiently to get the job done. They were friendly and easy to talk to about what was happening. They cleaned up after themselves and the job they completed was better than I expected. I highly recommend Hammond Plumbing. Matt Price was an incredibly professional plumber with a great attitude and a real knack for making me feel comfortable about his work. He removed my old sink and toilet, then installed the new sink, toilet and faucet in no time, plus he added water control switches and reinstalled my toilet sprayer for next to nothing extra. I struggled with their new call centre, which is a shame because their call centre reps used to be phenomenal and this new third party centre was more complicated to deal with. But Matt was very understanding and reassuring, and made the whole thing simple and straightforward. He more than made up for it.

Matt P and Taylor G were very friendly and accommodating right when they walked in our door! We had quite a few issues going on with our plumbing and they identified and rectified them straight off the bat. They worked quickly and efficiently, and we’re great at explaining the problem that we were having, and how they were going to address it. They were very straight forward on pricing, and worked quietly while my family and I were in the home. Honest and hardworking guys. We will definitely be using their services again!

Several years ago Hammond did an excellent job with a major plumbing renovation. I was very happy with the personal service. I was happy with the plumbers who did the work and incredibly happy with the result. Recently my pipes have started hammering each time a faucet is turned on and off. We drained the system ourselves to see if that would solve the problem but it didn’t so I called Hammond because of how happy I was with their previous service. This time the experience was totally the opposite. No longer can you talk directly to a person on Wabanaki drive to explain the issue. Instead the phone is answered by a call desk in India somewhere. On the first call it took 15 minutes to arrange a service call because of the script the person was reading about signing up for a ridiculous $17 per month service call coverage - that’s $200 per year, year after year for the off chance you will need a plumber. The day of the service I was called but I missed the call. The plumber left a message but no number to call her back. She never showed up. I received an email invoice (no charge thankfully) about an hour after she was supposed to be here. I called to see what was going on. Turns out she went to the wrong unit in my townhouse complex. She didn’t bother calling. The person in India rescheduled the service call and agreed not to read the script to me again because I’d been through it all recently. When the plumber showed up he didn’t care to listen to our explanation about why we called. He ‘diagnosed’ a loose fitting on a pipe but didn’t bother fixing it to see if it solved the problem. Then he presented the bill for the service call which was the exact amount I had been quoted on the phone and told us it was a big discount. That normally it would be over $100 for his visit. I will never use Hammond again. I will find a plumber with a true local presence not some cog in a big machine that in my experience made for poor service.
