I was using the yonge st Richmond Hill location until i went in for an adjustment and the cracked my lense...told me i would have to pay to fix something they broke. I decided to try the newmarket location and was treated with respect. They fixed my glasses, gave me a new frame as the other location cracked my frames too. I booked an eye exam and got new lenses. The ladies who work here are amazing. They went above and beyond to fix an issue the othe location caused. They were attentive and professional. They even gave me a bunch of free glasses cases. Even a cute purse one! I will repeat my business here due to these ladies. They made this experience a wonderful one. Thank you ladies!
B	Brian Gouliquer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While dealing with ladies picking out glasses was easy and great dealing with my insurance to cover the Optometrist Eye Exam is not. Had my eye exam and was given a receipt with the Dr’s license number and submitted to Sunlife. It was denied saying he isnt licensed to practice in Canada. So I told them he is and they strted an investigation. Hakim told me that he just hasnt registered with Sunlife as they have to register with each insurance company. Not sure if this is true or not but how can such a large company as Hakim not have an optometrist that is registered with one of the largest insurance companies. So now almost a month later my insurance is reviewing and I have been out of pocket since. Waiting on my safety glasses to be done and this is the last time I go there. One shouldnt have to research whether or not the optometrist is licensed or not especially with a large company like Hakim.

I like to have fun, with my glasses, so I look for the wildest, most unusual and exciting frames I can find. The staff helped us to, not only, make our selections, they shared in the fun, with us. We are never rushed and, even though I changed my mind, so many times, they helped me to, finally, narrow down my choices. They are always so patient. I also appreciate the fact that, over the years, when I have dropped in, for an adjustment, they have been so accommodating.

I returned multiple times since I was very indecisive and she was patient and friendly with me each time. She suggested frame types that would work with the prescription I had and explained how the glasses would look once they were complete. Just picked up my new glasses and am pleased with them! She's gotten many of her prescription contact lenses from them. Once, there was a manufacturer defects with one of the batches and they got it fix in a very timely manner. She always gets her prescription glasses from them as well and they are super good. Even tho, she buys her own frames, Suzanne always adjust them; fasten the loose screws and make sure the frames fit my wife perfectly. The optometrist has also fixed a few of our sunglasses (loose screws, etc). Never have've been turned around. They are always friendly, curteous, caring and really take good care of us. They care about the needs of their clients and whoever walks thru their doors. Absolutely recommend them.
