The museum is pretty cool, especially the meteorite, moon rock, rocket engine and high energy radiation detector. Each exhibit is well explained by a plaque or a poster too. The planetarium was a bit of a let down (I went to the dark matter one) because it was simplified quite a bit for kids and people unfamiliar with astronomy. I think they would need to do this though or else not enough people would show up. The show itself was rather current (even had the gravitational waves discovery included) and the lady who led the show knew lots on the topic. The old lazer machine is out of commission but you can still see it at the middle of the room and take pictures of it. Overall I do recommend this place.

Great museum for families with kids from 7 or so. The space show was amazing and surprisingly long, about 40 minutes. The actual museum section is a bit smaller than I expected, but they combined well the entertainment and the information.

Ok, the other reviews are correct, the place is not very big. You can finish all the exhibits in 45 minutes at most. However, the price include one show at the planetary theatre which is totally worth it. There are also free live shows at the Groundstation Canada Theatre every hour which is also very entertaining and educational. There is no cafeteria so you'll have to bring your own food/snack. There are vending machines for drinks and snacks too but not enough for lunch. Overall me and the kids really like it here and we'll definitely come again.

Nothing wrong with the show. My kids had a great time. The 1 star that I left is because of parking. It's practically an empty lot at 8:30pm platinum show. It's was pitch dark cold and rainy night with no visible sign to pay for parking. When I came out, I got slap with at $70 freaking dollar ticket!! The pay kiosk was way out there in the dark! Man! They gotta do a better job with parking notices especially in the dark with no attendant. At least have the employees inside should have reminding everyone to pay when getting our tickets. I think everyone went to that show got slapped with a ticket. That was highway robbery! A fun night turn out to be a sour note driving back to the hotel... here on vacation from California.

Very outdated. Looks like the theatre projector is from 1990s pixel resolution. We had hoped and expected for far better considering what’s available technology wise in 2021. Wouldn’t bring guests. Wouldn’t go back

A great place to visit, planetarium is good. The live show I would say is not very good. But the observatory is very nice, staff is super friendly and kind, they were happy to answer all the answers and tell real great stories, definitely a place to go. Try to plan it whenever it's not cloudy though.

Attended the "Invisible Universes" show. I thought it was good and informative. My only suggestion is to perhaps implement an age restriction for some of the more complex shows. I noticed the small children naturally getting fussy and bored after a while which takes away from the overall viewing experience. Other than that it's made for a good day out on a rainy day ?

Have been many times through the years. It's always tidy, staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and it's a nice quiet atmosphere. Great for when you need to slow down and enjoy the moment. The starshow is wonderful! Don't expect it to be done it's not, the planetarium has always been pretty low energy.
