★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a functioning armoury still the base of the Seaforth Highlanders. It also serves as the local Reserve recruitment office. Been played fairly recently with Billboard displays showing the history of the Highlanders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nationally historic Armoury that has been modernized to today's standards. Housing the Seaforth Highlanders and their regimental history the new and refurbished buildings provide excellent working space and storage facilities. Much of Vancouver's contribution to the Great and Second World Wars are tied to the Regiment and the Armoury. Adequate parking for military members in a secured compound, although lack of convenient transit is a valid complaint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge place, high ceiling, well lit for indoor parade. No surprise, the place is an armoury. Many pictures and photographs on the wall will remind you where the Canadian Army has been active in the world.
The occasion was dinner organized by CASIS in a banquet room catered by a company from Surrey. The food was formidable, complete with salads and dressings, and deserts. Perhaps there was more food to feed twice the number of guests invited.
The Canadian Army bagpipe band impressed everybody with its distinct Highland Scottish sound within the colossal space.
You can't help leaving feeling proud of the contribution by the Canadian Army to the betterment of the world.

It is the home of The Seaforth Highlanders of Canada, a Primary Reserve Infantry unit.
