★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 1 night at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, a good size and looked to be recently updated. Staff were friendly. I arrived late so did not eat there but the onsite restaurant looked and smelled great, and looked to have a good menu with decent prices. Will stay there again.

Tables could be replaced (just about all are wobbly), chairs have quite some age to them, and the place is very 80s/90s diner feel.
If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy good food, I'd recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love love the food here. So happy Phillip and may took over, always a good choice to go out for dinner or order in! Had my anniversary dinner here and it was great. Tasty HUGE portion, and the staff is so great! Green gables lounge will always be one of my favourites
