★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my Samsung s7 screen replaced here, 270$ and they had to use the wrong color or I had to wait another 2 weeks for the correct color. I returned a few months later with my daughters iPhone SE with a cracked screen,I called ahead and was told 70$, then I got an email stating that the estimated repair was 89.76. No big deal, I will remind them when I pick it up...then I get the call that the phone isn’t charging and randomly turning itself off, they need my daughters iCloud password so they can wipe and restore for another 60$....weird it was working when I dropped it off, but whatever. A few days later I get another call that the board is faulty and needs to be replaced and the bill is now going to be 250$... I said go ahead as a new phone is 600 if I can find one (my daughter loves the small phone) Next call was yesterday February 10th and apparently the bill is 300$?
They have had my phone for 11 days, have called me no less than 10 times. I have no problem with repairs arising from impact damage, but how does the price keep changing?
Update: when I went to pick up my phone, the manager apologized and reduced the bill to the agreed price, put on a new screen protector and put it in a new case, my daughter was happy to get her phone back, and I was happy to pay the 250.00. I think everyone deserves a second chance, and I will give these people a third. Left my previous review to show Great Tel listens and responds in a courteous and responsible manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I walked in to get my iPhone 6s screen fixed and i was initially quoted $100 but I received a call after stating that the device had front camera and ear speaker damage as well from the impact. I was really on a tight budget and couldn't afford it but I authorized the repair anyway because it would be pretty hard to use the iPhone if I couldn't hear. But to my surprise greattel had decided to waive the cost of the ear speaker purely as a good will gesture. Thank you so much guys you have no idea how much that helped me. That really made my week maybe my month lol. Oh and also great work guys. Device works great. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in town visiting from San Diego, as my luck would have it i cracked my screen during my trip ! Luckily I found great gel and they were able to fix my screen within the same day! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend their team to anyone who lives in the area, thank you so much for your help !!!!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reason I went to Great Tel was because I needed my Samsung Galaxy 6 battery to be replaced. The original battery I owned wouldn't last longer then half a day.
I set up an appointment with them over the phone and they replaced the battery no problem. Since the Samsung Galaxy 6 is a harder phone to get into and isn't meant to be opened up easily, the technician accidentally cracked the back of my phone. HOWEVER, they ordered in a new back piece free of cost and reinstalled the brand new one the next day.
I was so happy with the customer services, expertise and helpful staff here. My phone battery now last much much longer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been in twice in the last month to have my screen replaced, I dropped off my phone on Thursday after speaking with a representative on the phone to see if they would do a complimentary fix as the screen broke after barley even falling, with a screen protector on it, the guy on the phone said to bring it in, which I don’t live close to the store but did anyways, I then arrive and he said he would need to speak with the manager, after waiting all day I received a call saying that the manager said there was nothing he could do, I then came back today to pickup the phone and possibly speak with the manager about a resolution, both the customer service representatives understood my situation and frustration and said to wait for the manager who the manager arrived and walked directly to the back, the lady who was helping me when to grab him and he wouldn’t even come
Out to discuss it with me, i was told there was nothing they could do besides the usual 30% discount (that they offer to everyone who gets there screen fixed), long story short the manager didn’t discuss the problem with me at all and didn’t even acknowledge me, I took my 55$ else where and received way better service and a higher quality screen, they use cheap screens and the place is very poorly managed and is not about good business, they are there to make a quick buck that is it, I took my business elsewhere and received a way better quality of service and finished product. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste the money, spend the extra 5-10$ anywhere else and get a better quality screen

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff, fast service but unfortunately they won’t stand behind their product. I had them replace a broken screen in my iPhone XS Max and I started having issues with dead spots on the touchscreen. I called them and they told me to bring it in for repair anytime and they would fix it. I was slow to go in but when I did this they told me I was outside of the warranty period (3 months!) I paid over $300 for a repair and now have a touchscreen with dead spots, images are burned into my display and the phone will start randomly opening apps. (Bad digitizer). I used them and saved a couple bucks but ended up with junk parts. Save yourself the hassle and go back to your phone provider or manufacturer. Otherwise you’ll end up paying for additional repairs. Edit, they did offer me $100 off the required repair but they should be repairing font for free.
