In the short appointment I was looking for coverage and he told me to do my own research to find someone that can helps with anxiety and ADHD, since he is not from Vancouver. I asked how can I be helped, and he said I don’t know, ‘find someone else’ with a shrug. It was insulting. I told him how inappropriate it was, and he didn’t step away from the door way for me to leave. I waited 3 weeks for this appointment only to be told ‘I don’t know, do your own research’
c	candy L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time at Granville Medical Clinic this morning . The receptionist was very efficient ,the waiting area is small but quiet and clean. After 40 minutes I was able to see Dr.Dhaliwal. He was very polite and patient , not rushing to leave for the next patient. The clinic is attached a pharmacy and the pharmacist was very helpful to look up my insurance policy and she was very knowledgeable to answer all my concerns about the medicine. I’ll definitely recommend this walk-in clinic.

I am a very very anxious person and will avoid going to clinics at all costs (especially walk-in clinics, they aren’t great here in Vancouver). I ended up at Granville Medical by complete accident when another one nearby was full by 830am. And i’m so happy I did! From the second he introduces himself, you can tell he is a kind, caring and non-judgmental person. I work a lot with the doctors of BC and this kind of bedside mannerism is VERY rare. He is a gem and I can’t thank him enough.

Wait time was long ~2h but front desk staff were friendly and helpful and communicated this well. Dr Ryan was also great, kind and compassionate.
R	Rohit Ajit Kumar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly, highly disappointed with the staff at Granville Medical Clinic. The receptionists are way too lazy to do any job. They never send requisition forms on time to the respective labs and patients have to suffer. They never ever pick up phone calls, the receptionists give inaccurate information and you never receive reports on time, ending up loosing lots of time and money using their services. Mr Dhaliwal, kindly look into these matters as you are one of the doctors working there. Patients are suffering because of the negligence from the receptionists because their services have been sub-par. Apart from being dishonest, they have been arrogant and rude to interact with. They are very disrespectful, obnoxious and cocky. They lie about sending requisition forms to various labs only to find out that the labs haven’t even received any forms or requests from the clinic. Patients have to bear the no show fees as the lab haven’t received the requisition forms. Somebody could be waiting for their reports to come and due to lack of information from the clinic people can miss the time frame for their treatment. These are experiences I have gone through.

I was able to see a doctor within five minutes of arriving at Granville Medical Clinic as a walk-in on a Thursday morning. The receptionist was lovely, and Dr. Ryan Kingan was excellent and truly helpful. I was very impressed and grateful, particularly on a morning where I had to make several calls before finding a clinic that would see someone without an appointment that day. Thank you again!
