★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in with an obscure problem. Not being a born and bred fisherman, I was essentially a complete noob and had no real clue what I was doing or what I needed. The staff were patient with me and directed me to the right equipment for my problem. I will most certainly be back once I realize what other tackle I need to pretend to fish. Thanks so much to everyone that helped me today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very honest store. I am from lethbridge alberta and was their fishing the salmon run. Time of my life by the way lol but well i was their i needed a b.c fishing license and a salmon stamp for my trip. I also needed a good pair of shoes for the boat so i found a great pair of shoes. The kicker was i forgot my phone on the counter. This lovely store moved it to the side and answered it when i called so i knew where it was. They put it aside for me 2 days went bye before i could get back their. What a wonderful store and suggest that if your in port alberni swing by this gem of a fishing store. Thanks gone fishing for keeping my phone safe.
