★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. Super friendly, professional and highly skilled. I gave very little instruction and it came out perfect. Bonus points for the hot shave and beard trim. Very reasonably priced. The shop has a relaxing vibe as well. They made a new customer for life!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in on a day that wasn't that great for the shop due to a compassionate matter. It was pretty busy already, so I offered to come back the next day. Will (the owner!) *insisted* on accommodating me, and I ended up with the exact perfect cut. Other stylists & barbers all over SE Calgary made their attempts at the same cut over the last 8 months but none of them got it right. The one before Will was so humiliating because it was uneven. The ONLY place that did it right (and corrected all the prior mistakes) was Golden Blade.

During this difficult Covid time for small businesses they ensure their clients are safe by enforcing the rules of masking, a real dilemma and balance of business, safety and enforcement the government has dropped on them. The owner Will has cut my hair for almost ten years, now in his new shop and prior at another, with outstanding results every time. The new puppy dog is a very welcoming addition to the team. I highly recommend Will and his team regardless of the type of hair you have or what style you are looking to try. Prices are very fair and competitive for the services received. Keep up the great work Will….

Doesn’t rush, always on time, does hair and beard and is very pristine. As long as I live in Calgary this is the only barber shop I will go to

I have been going to him for about a year now, and now my boss goes to see him as well. He is family friendly, efficient and has a great eye for getting you your perfect style. I always feel on top of my game after my visit. I highly recommend this shop as it is truly a hidden gem! Keep up the great work Will.
