★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in for lunch today. I had #71 and my lunch friend had #69. Both meals were excellent. Great prices ($9-$12) for lunch. Extremely fast service. I was impressed how clean it was. Behind the bar was clean and the bathrooms were clean. Comfortable chairs and a nice atmosphere. We usually do take out from here for supper but was driving by so came in for lunch instead of Boston Pizza. Exceeded expectations compared to most viet restaurants. Will continue to order from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why ppl rave about the peanut stay, i found it lacking depth and flavour. But there won tons!! Hell yah!!! They r awesome, so much flavour, i was very pleasantly surprised. Beef salad rolls were flavourful as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 2 meals with 2 drinks. Realized when I arrived home that they didn’t include the 2 drinks in the bag but paid for them. The pho we got was super bland and tasted like the $0.99 ichiban soup you get from Superstore. They did not include hot sauce or hoisin sauce and super stingy on the meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been regulars of Golden Bell Richmond for years. Unfortunately it’s become almost entirely a takeout restaurant - over the past few months we’ve witnessed the decline of service for their eat in customers from marginal to virtually non existent. Still great food for Skip The Dishes, but if you’re looking to dine in I’d recommend just about any other Vietnamese restaurant in the city and leave Golden Bell for the long line of delivery people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointing. $18 for a “super bowl” with TWO tiny shrimp. A single fresh roll had more shrimp in it. The sauce is placed in the container taking up a huge amount of space. Not to mention the container was as slightly deeper than the lid shown here. Flavor was subpar but nothing memorable. Sorry but the only thing super about this bowl is that it’s a super rip off.
Two stars because at least the fresh rolls were fresh but the sauce was really mediocre.
