Glam Nail Studio - Richmond

I love Glam. They're more expensive than your ordinary, strip-mall nail salon but you definitely get what you pay for. Not only do they use high-quality, top-name products but their technique is also superb. I've gotten two sets of hard-gel nails done here and it always feels like nothing can ever break them. Their customer service is fantastic. When I phoned to make my appointment, they were extremely thorough, asking me what kind of nails I wanted done, what length I wanted them, how complicated the nail art was going to be, and so forth. This allowed them to find an appointment time based on my needs. They were really accommodating - my mom came with me to my appointment and was able to get a pedicure done right away, without any waiting. Finally, their cleanliness lives up to the Japanese standard. Their (pristine, I'm sure) white workspaces are covered with a towel, and then with another paper towel. The girls always wear masks to protect themselves from the fine dust, and extraneous dust are swept away with a buffer brush. Movies are always playing in the background so you don't get bored during your appointment. The girls are also super friendly and willing to chat. There is also a basket underneath your chair so your bag can be kept safe. Offering water is something that could enhance the customer experience. I'll make sure to bring a water bottle with me for my next appointment. If you're on a budget, save your money to get your nails done for a special occasion at Glam. Their designs are so pretty, and definitely last for a long time!

I have been to Glam Nail Studio 3 times so far, and I have been extremely happy with their services. They are very knowledgeable and skilled. The staff here are very friendly and I always enjoy my visit. The first time I visited Glam Nail I had to get major sculpture extension done because I had badly bitten nails. The artist helped me walked me through the whole process and gave me a lot of advice to grow my nails out and protect them. The result was amazing and the longevity was great. It took me around 2 months to fully grow my nails and my last visit I did not need extension. I am so happy my nails are more healthy now. I usually don't get any complicated designs on my nails, but I decided to get a little bit of art done to my nail last visit. I really love the end result. I will be going back again and again.

Keiko, Chiha and the team at GLAM have been providing personalized Japanese Nail Art with spectacular designs. Chiha and I decide on a theme two weeks before my appointments (I go monthly) and she prepares 3D nail art and drawings ahead of time to make my appointment fit within the time slot. They are super friendly and feel like family! A must go place for manicures!! Feels like a vacation to Japan when we are stuck during this pandemic!

I have always been impressed by the professionalism and cleanliness of this salon. That is why i have been coming here for years! All of the employees, present and past, have always given wonderful manicures and pedicures and I always feel pampered when i leave here. I sometimes find myself checking the incredible art on my nails while i am driving home. Shoko, the manager, always seems to know what i want, or have great suggestions that will suit my nails. If you want anything, from a regular manicure, to special occaision nails to incredible 3D designs, this is where you need to go! Went there based on their pictures on instagram and reviews on Google. The place definitely lived up to all the reviews! Yes it is small but the ladies who work there are lovely. I went for regular pedicures and hard gel extension with nail art. Nail salons at Burnaby sucks and i was looking for a nail salon who can do exactly as shown in pics, so I was looking for a place and I think this is it!! So much attention to detail and she really took her time, they dont skimp on the small stuff. I have really dry skin and a lot of dead skin and she cleaned up everything beautifully. The cucumber scrub was really nice too. You really do get what you pay for. It seems like the place works on appointment only so definitely book an appointment before you go! One thing that i LOVED about this place that I have never seen before - all their pedicure tubs are wrapped with plastic and they change the plastic for every client, which means you know its clean and you are not soaking your feet in someone elses dirt!! The ladies who work on your feet also wear gloves. I was super impressed with their level of cleanliness. I got the nails done as per my requirement and exactly as shown in picture and I am very satisfied amd impressed by the work done by my nail Tech Kana. Price is little high comparatively but definately worth it.

Glam Nail Studio provides wonderful service and beautiful nails, every time! My nails are always creative, gorgeous, and durable. This is the best nail studio I've ever been to. ??❤
