★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a gt in Weyburn sk.iabsolutely loved it.as did everyone I talked to.and al of a sudden we found out it was closing.very sad. Now we have to drive 2 hrs.to go to giant tiger in Regina.i had very good service in both stores.l love giant tiger stores.could you please tell me if you are considering putting one in Estevan sk. Thanks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband went into the store to grab a couple things he didn't see Anyone in line so he thought it was okay to put his stuff on the counter
The cashier says to my husband there are other people in line so he walked back and waited in line and the funny thing is the couple infront of him ended up going the another till and the cashier didn't not want to help anyone she was taking her time
This is very poor customer's service won't be coming back !!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was busy. There were only 2 tills open. There were 12 purchase groups (single person/couple/family)
in line at one till... With social distancing the end of the line was almost to the back of the store.
In the other line (mine) I was 4th with 8 purchase groups behind me. As 4th, I waited 30 minutes in my line.Not the teller's fault. First person had a cart full. One family had returns to make and new purchases. Next fellow had purchases plus a bunch of lottery tickets to redeem and more to buy. My teller was amazingly efficient and friendly when I got to the till.
The other teller kept calling on the intercom the entire time for help and additional cashiers to come to the front (while still being a super polite cashier dealing with her line).
In the 30 minutes I waited in line, no other cashiers showed up.
I have no idea how long all those people behind me had to or managed to wait to pay. Lined up through the entire store.
I waited 30 minutes as 4th in line (no fault to the cashier) The 2 cashiers up front deserve an acknowledgement and raise.
The rest of the store, including managers walking around deciding on where to showcase product while 20 people lined up through the aisles to pay, should be fired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are very similar, if not exactly the same as Walmart. It was honestly a little underwhelming. I've been to a Giant Tiger in Ottawa many years ago and loved the selection, this store however was not that great, sadly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice layout and easy to find items. Prices are fairly low but some items were out of stock. They seem to concentrate on trying to be a scaled version of Walmart with a dominant section for clothing and a small grocery section.
