Friendly service and a decent selection. I read some reviews saying prices are high? yeah, maybe if the last bike you bought was 25 years ago. Prices are reasonable and considering they don't cut corners on components or quality the prices are good. After shopping around at other stores I purchased a gravel bike at Giant and am very happy with my purchase. Ride on!

The store is fantastic! Clean, well organized and everyone so helpful and cheerful. Every (or just about every) Giant model on display and the staff was eager to explain and help with every request. The model I wanted has been hard to find and this Barrie Giant store was the only bike store in Ontario to have it in stock (Giant has live inventory on its web site). I showed up late in the day and the folks at the store started to build the bike for me while I was still finishing with the transaction and watching. Chris (sales) helped with all the small items I needed and the bike was ready with 5 minutes to spare before the store closed. Very enjoyable experience and worth driving up to Barrie.

Great staff, great service, great bikes! Have purchased a couple of kids’ bikes and they have a great trade in program. Also bought my first mountain bike; they didn’t try to up-sell me, asked what I was looking for, how often I’d be out and where and made reasonable recommendations. Won’t go anywhere else for a bike!

Visited the store to inquire about production times for a Liv model. I wasn't looking to purchase a bike today by any means, but was hoping to receive a timetable/estimate around when they might come back in stock, order times, etc. The guy wasn't willing to offer any information at all, other that to say to come back some time in the winter. He said they wouldn't take deposits, and was just generally unhelpful. He was very dismissive, did not ask any questions in terms of what I was looking for - basically kicked me out the door. Unfortunately turned me off of Giant and the Liv brand entirely. Went over to two different Trek stores the same day, and they were completely upfront and honest around production times, and generally much more helpful/better customer service. Both Trek stores even encouraged me to check out different shops/brands that were not their own, and offered suggestions for similar models that compared to the one I was looking at. ***EDIT: if Giant cannot accept deposits, it's a sign of poor manufacturing. Other manufacturers are able to accept deposits and offer more concrete turnaround times (even *if* they're stating orders will not be fulfilled until Fall, 2022 or even January, 2023)

Just bought two Giant ebikes, super excited to get on them next year. Really impressed with the huge showroom and service area. Mansfield and Chris were awesome with the sale and advice. So happy we found this place. This is where brick and mortar are important to see the bikes, buy parts and get them serviced right here. Doesnot get any better than this. Thankyou!!!

Recently purchased a Giant E-Bike... the sales staff and bike techs were great. Made the process easy and with lots of helpful advise. Would highly recommend this shop. If this store was closer to my home I’d see if I could get a job there as a greeter... terrific place! Thought I’d provide an update. Just bought a 3rd bike for the family in the past 12 months. Bikes are expensive and hard to access in these Covid times. I’ve checked on line at almost most every shop in the GTA looking for bikes. After extensive searches, three times I’ve taken the 2 hr trip to Giant Barrie to get a bike. These folks are great… knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Terrific bike shop with with a surprising number of bikes and lots of parts & accessories. Certainly worth the drive.

Called in from Collingwood looking to see if they had a Talon 3 in stock. They did! Got there and tried it out. Great. Started inspecting it at the cash and noticed that the forks had been heavily gouged / scratched and touched up with black paint. After mentioning the damage I was told that's why it's $50 off - it was damaged during shipping. Well that wasn't explained on the call before heading over and wasn't explained until noticed. That felt shady. Flipped the bike over and found other heavy scratches and gouges. OK, so - free water bottle holder and $50 discount. The brake disc was a little bit warped and I mentioned that too. Could see it hitting the pads as I had it flipped over. I was told that's what you get with a lower end model (the brand that you're selling and is the name of your independent store). I'm sure your store filed an insurance claim for the shipping damage and were trying to sell the bike at full price. If you didn't file a claim, somebody is not smart. It's an $800 bike. I'm not going to beat up a business owner but I also don't appreciate the level of deception. Like we said - the bike will get scratched on trails but you need to be honest with people, though, cause that was actually shady. First time buying a bike from your shop and I have a family of 6. Kids grow a lot. I also have enough cash to buy every single bike you have in that store, but that wouldn't have crossed your mind. You saw a guy buying an $800 bike. Got home and the rest of the bike needed to be tightened up in several places, including a completely loose gear shift. I bent the brake disc gently and it helped a lot. We went to 3 other shops before stopping here. Every one of the other stores took their time to inspect the bikes. Inflate the tires. Tighten stuff up. They cared. I know the dude that helped us is going to read this and you sir need to think about being better with customer service. Not much point in buying into a brand, if you're going to diminish the value.

Bought a Talon 1 today and most people were generally helpful and overall a positive experience. The individual who took my order hesitated to put my bike on the stand to perform basic checks. I lifted up the bike and we noticed the front rotor was rubbing so it was put on the stand and fixed. When I got home, I rode the bike for a few minutes, applied the brakes and then both front and rear rotors started rubbing. Update: The rear rotor stopped rubbing on its own. Not sure why but maybe after more breaking it just moved into position? The front rotor stopped rubbing after adjustments but would start rubbing again after braking. It is very slightly bent but I was able to find an alignment position to avoid contact with the brake pads after many careful observations from various angles and making different adjustments. I just hope the problem doesn't come back after more serious riding. Not everyone has the knowledge and patience to troubleshoot and fix this type of issue. I would have given a five star rating if there was no hesitation to put my bike on the stand and check it.
