★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My roommate had directed me to George Richards in Southgate when I asked about mens clothing sores. I was very pleased to find a location in Sherwood Park.
The young gentleman who helped me knew his stuff and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for.

The manager is very confrontational and rude. I bought a couple of shirts. When I tried to return one that was unworn and not washed (accompanied with the original receipt) the manager refused to take it back because the tag had been removed.
This is not in alignment with George Richard’s return policy that states; “ Return or Exchange on unworn, unaltered, unwashed garments within 30 days with the original receipt.”
The manager is rude, condescending to his staff and customers. Until there is a managment change at this store I will choose to shop elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went a couple weeks ago to start looking at some options for my fiancée’s suit for our upcoming wedding. The young lady who helped was so lovely but the manager kept giving us grief that we had to decide what colour combinations we wanted before we came in.
It’s literally all he said to us the whole 10 minutes we were there. It’s clear he doesn’t want any business as we were the only people in the store at that time. He then pressured us to buy a certain item that day as no other stores would be bringing it in ever again (highly unlikely ?).
Since when are customers discouraged from shopping?
I recanted the encounter to other people and all were in agreement that yes the manager is not pleasant to deal with and most just drive further to the south location.
I would suggest getting rid of this manager, he doesn’t seem worth the hassle and clearly from other reviews and conversations nobody is pleased with him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm glad that there's finally another George Richards store in the greater Edmonton area. The store is nice, clean and well organized. The staff are very helpful and the fitting rooms are very large.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this store is completely useless for tall men. it should be called the large waist but short leg store. not one single pair of dress pants that had a 38" inseam and the staff seemed very disinterested. I will give the west ed mall location a try and hope for better results.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was shopping for a winter coat for my husband, after having to return 3 different coats (size XXL) to winners (none of which fit him), I went to George Richards Big and Tall, found exactly what I was looking for with Nathan’s help. He provided exceptional and professional service, the jacket fit perfectly and looks great, I appreciated his advice and knowledge with regards to sizing. I hope this review makes it back to the sales associate! ?
