George Brown and his staff are the incredibly incompetent and arrogant- but worst of all they are total crooks. They screw up on purpose so you have to correct their errors and spend more $$ with them. When you walk into their office it feels like an episode of Sister Wives. Seriously, it's almost my fault for not immediately running in the other direction- because you figure how bad can it be? It's worse. The mistakes, the attitude, the overall failure to perform the basic tasks which you have hired this group of clowns to perform you can't help but laugh because it's a literal circus.

Thank god for google review. I wish I read them before I hired this firm. George brown filed an action in the Landlord tenant board and lied that it wasn't a shared rental accommodation in order to have his case heard when there was no jurisdiction to do so. It was obvious on the lease agreement but obviously he never submitted that. He followed me towards the reception area at break betweenthe hearing while I was photocopying and threatened me to give him the money I owned him or he will never stop coming after me. I screamed and hammered on the glass staff enclosure until he left the room. No one helped me. I was scared for days. It was reported to the LSO and it was assigned to someone who did nothing and he would not speak to me about investigating. I have a disability and because of ongoing abuse I can no longer attend my job. We need to have a separate review committee to police the law society of Ontario as they do nothing to protect the public on the lawyers, as they believe they are the untouchable elite.

George brown seems not to know what him or his team are doing and he has no due regard for his clients' interests at least from my husbands experience with him and he is a very rude and uncourteous person yet he won't spare your money and won’t consider any other alternatives. George brown took our money, gave us wrong advice including advising us to stop paying rent, failed to file my amended T2 and T6 and then started communicating with the proprietor’s representative behind my husbands and my back and without knowledge of the facts because he did not review our documents after getting paid. This indeed reflects the lack of professionalism and of course unethical behavior. I still have a right to file a complaint against him with the Law society of Ontario and I will. The public ought to know that you are a very unprofessional, unethical and you have poor communication skills which turns into a short temper because you have limited ability to convey complex messages with clarity. This is my first and last review. My advice to anyone reading this is to not pay until you see results. Yes George brown paralegal will woo you and make you feel like he is so committed until you pay the fees then good luck. Also for any LTB related issues I would steer clear. I watched some courts via the LTB online portal and his demeanour is that of an angry teenager when things don’t go his way. He will interrupt you, mansplain to you and make it seem like he’s the smartest man in the building. Until he gets shut down by the judge. He’s not smart he knows a couple of big standard words, he spelled his own name wrong on third of the documents we got from him. Also, he’s nonethical. He will draft any letter you want, even when he knows some of the content might not help you case, wrong dates, wrong times etc. He doesn’t fact check. If you want to work here, think twice.

Ongoing situation with my terrible landlady… he emailed me and tried to force me into an N11 after I filled an N2. In my opinion, beware of his lies and deceit. In my opinion he’s been caught lying and, in my opinion, his practice should be deeply questioned. In my legal right to an opinion, this man is a liar and very descriptive. By no means is my option considered as slander My opinion is my legal right, in Canada. In my opinion, do not trust this paralegal.

For landlord and tenant related issues there can't be anyone better than George Brown Professional Corporation. The pain that we all landlord go through is just unbearable at times and then having somebody know the process so good is all by luck. Will definitely recommend GBPC to anyone and everyone.

ANYONE SEEING THESE REVIEWS. Sort them by negative to positive. Something I should have done prior to hiring GP Professional corp. I pretty confident that most of the 5 stars reviews are illegitimate and fake. Some are just 5 stars with no comments. It looks like George paid for reviews to off set the negative ones that real people have left. Don't believe anything that comes out of this mans mouth, he takes advantage of clients that are not very versed in that area of law and files the wrong applications on purpose to maximize how much money he could make. I encourage every person that worked with George brown pooperation to lodge a complaint with the law society and get their money back. This man is a bad representation of his colleagues. In other words, a hakk. Our case has been going on for 2 years. Yes we get it its lockdown, but we had our case dismissed twice due to improper filing, and its not like GP absorbs the costs like any professional would do, he would ask you for more money. Hold your money hostage. Tells you to go somewhere else if you don't like it. etc etc. His reply to this review is going to be exactly like the rest of the other replies. He will deny deny deny deny! Anyway, you can take my money and invest it a better wardobe and an english dictionary. Best of luck.

George Brown does NOT care about you. I left a 1 star review previously but he called me the next day and threatened to sue me so I removed it (even though it was factual) I am sure he does that to everyone. When considering this service, sort by lowest rating and believe every word you read. No reasonable person goes out of their way to write a bad review of their experience. His star rating should be much lower than you see. We called them to book a consult, they took some information about our case over the phone. My wife and I drove to the appointment - we waited for 15 minutes, the receptionist came up to us and said that George could no longer see us because they had already met with the opposition in our case. George never showed his face, no one apologized. Lack of diligence (cross referencing names on case files) no compassion and poor customer service was our experience. Is this someone you really want to pay to represent you?
