★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been using gentek products for 7 years for both of my business in regina and Saskatoon I've always been treated good from gentek although I believe codel should be taken off the shelf due to them not honoring there warranty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My brand new door and fully renovation (painted walls, baseboards, flooring ) all wrecked by ice during first winter month. Contacted Gentek in December, they asked to send photos in January. Charles Marier (branch manager) came for inspection on SEPTEMBER!!!! And said that even if he contacted the vendors, they will schedule an appointment only in November, so, at least one more winter we have to handle the door and ice in my house. For my question why we contacted you in January and you came only in September - he said that he has no idea and he got our information only in August. He also recommended me to go to hire an advocate and go to court because it's not Gentek mistake, it's vendor problem and they are not responsible for it! Very unprofessional and extremely bad service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible customer service, I finished a job and had 17 pieces of untouched soffit to return, it was inspected and returned to the rack. Went to the Desk to get the refund and was refused my refund. Talked to the general manager, and he was no help. He to refused to give me a refund or even give me a credit towards a next purchase. Horrible experience, very disappointed, I've never experienced anything like that before. Most definitely not how I would run a business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am currently on my second warranty claim. My siding is warped. Has been since 11 months after installation. Lifetime warranty. First claim took 15 months to get new siding on home. Second claim has taken 4 months so far and counting and I haven't even spoken to the vendor rep yet. Horrible product. Horrible service. Small claims court an option being discussed as nothing else is working on getting warranty acted on. Head office says that it is in the hands of local vendor rep who has not contacted me in any way regarding my issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Installer)-------the loading bay supervisor has horrid customer service. .Regular customer, in there 4 to 5 sometimes 6 times a week and every time there, treats the people (myself included) like I am a bother and disturbing him, this is after one spends 1000s of dollars a week there...
