It's quite surprising given a family had just used them about 2 months ago for the same thing and had been happy with service. Apparently they've had a policy change and won't touch anything unless they were the ones to install it.

E	Ellen Helfand on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was delighted and embarrassed (but not surprised) to be the winner of Gaslink's "Oldest Furnace in Barrie" contest. I was skeptical that the prize of a new furnace would not come with strings attached. I expected to be told that I had to upgrade other components of my heating and air conditioning units to accommodate the new furnace. Not only did Ray not try to upsell me anything, he cleaned our air conditioner coils, replaced our old thermostat, and I think he had to do some unexpected plumbing work when he removed the old, calcified humidifier, among other things. Needless to say, we will be using Gaslink for all of our HVAC needs in the future. We are very happy to have found this locally owned, trustworthy, friendly, family business.

But we soon discovered that not everything is so simple in our case. Gas had to be carried through two floors, there was almost no space behind the drywall, and so on. Several contractors evaluated the work at several thousand dollars, but then they called and refused to do this work. We did not know what to do. But in the end, good luck smiled at us and we found a link to the “Gaslink Complete Home Services”. Ray and Kristy were great to deal with. Ray came to make an estimation, was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive to our inquiries and questions. He found an effective solution for our problem with the use of modern material and technology. And we were pleasantly impressed by the price - several times less than what previous contractors had offered us. Kristy also worked great - quick, clear and complete answers to all our many questions and the rest of the paper work. Ray and his colleague performed the work quickly, professionally and with minimal losses for our drywall ;). They answered all our questions about the installation of a gas pipe and also about our other HVAC devices and gave useful advice on their maintenance. When we bought a gas stove Ray came without delay and connected the stove. We were very pleased that we found this reliable, professional, friendly, and trustworthy family company. We will definitely use them again in the future for all our HVAC needs and will recommend them to all our friends and relatives. Thank you GasLink!

We had two other quotes and they didn’t provide the detail or interest of this relatively small job. Gaslink was very professional and followed up with good knowledge in a timely fashion. They replaced our old gas fireplace at a reasonable cost. The installer went beyond expectation when he fell into some complications. He still managed to install the unit in one day although he took an extra few hours to complete the job. Anyone else would likely have turned this into a two or three day project. After the install we had some questions and Ray came back immediately onsite to follow up which was also a nice surprise!
D	Donna Aubry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called this business back in January to install a gas line for a new stove. They told me that it would be 4 - 6 weeks and they would be in touch. I was contacted for my address to see when they could fit me in to the schedule. I reached out again at the 6 week mark to find out where I was on the list, reached out again after that with no replies what so ever. Weh I called the phone number you are told they will not take messages and you need to email. But we know they are not responding to emails. Very Poor Customer Service.
