★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service people I’ve ever encountered. Rude and unfriendly. Mum and I went in to buy some potted items for family. As we browsed, service lady almost immediately rushed over to tell us not to touch things or put them down in the wrong place, to only take things up to the counter to her…when I tried to look at the price of one small plant, the precariously stacked pots on a table started to topple. She ran over and scolded us like children. Obviously we left without buying anything. Their horrible attitude lost them a potentially regular customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, Garland's is one of the top locally owned, family-run flower shops in Vancouver. I recently purchased some flowers from them for a funeral; everything from the telephone order experience to the payment was smooth and friendly. They have a wide assortment of flower options, some plants, and several accessories. Though I don't visit Garland's on a regular basis, my experience has been positive, including the service that I received. I would recommend calling ahead of time if you're looking for something special or unique.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my go-to florist on West Broadway in Vancouver's Kitsilano neighbourhood. The family-run shop is always well-stocked and I enjoy that they always remember who I am and ask about my family. I have bought many a house plant from Garland, and they always flourish in my house where plants from other places do not. The quality is wonderful.
I've put them on my regular route in the neighbourhood, stopping in every week or two for fresh flowers as well. Their small bouquet selection on the street front is always lovely.
