I saw some of the negative reviews but that has not been my experience. Friendly and courteous staff . I understand I bought a 12 yr old car and things can happen. Do your homework before buying a car anywhere. Do your own VIN checks, look before signing on the dotted line. Thanks Gardiner. Please with our purchase.
B	Bob Beaven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't even know where to start the service and sale of a used vehicle was so bad I would not suggest anyone buy from them. I purchased a Ford Ranger step side from them, I live in Kirkland Lake, the first attempt to drive it home a wheel fell off in Barrie. The second attempt at driving it home a wheel fell off on a different axel. (both front) That was the end of dealing with Gardiner Motors except for I paid for the the towing both times which I still hold them accountable for. They may have lots of vehicles but I do not trust any of them. Only reason they get one star is so that I can select the post button.
J	Jeff Kruse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gardiner priced our sons new car properly versus the market. ONLY if it were as promised - certified. We never saw the safety certificate that they used to license it, but they must have presented one to the Ministry to be able to plate it / license it for when we picked it up. I do not believe they were honest when certifying it. They informed us of evidence of a leak on the valve cover. They replaced the brakes in order to make it road worthy They cleared the error codes and told us that the transmission fluid need to be replaced according to the codes. They did not replace the rotted emergency brake and so could not have passed it as it did not have a working parking brake. They certified it with studded winter tires (illegal in Mississauga where they operate and illegal where we live) which actually had 3/32 of tread left - only 0.3813 mm greater than the reject limit The trouble is, the issues we found were brought to light after the 36 days of time the certification would be valid so we feel that we could not go back to the dealer to have them fixed. For a $5000 car, we have now paid well over that amount making it roadworthy again, and there are more nuisance issues remaining. Buyer beware - ask for a third party safety inspection or to take it to your own garage for the inspection before buying. Do not let this dealer certify it themselves.
