β β β β β By far the cleanest halal meat shops I have been too, the staff is very nice and make great conversation. The meat is great and the prices are even better. I would highly recommend this halal meat shop to anyone that is looking for halal meat or any other ethnic spices/foods.

β β β β β Yesterday, I was in Gandour store for lamb meat. I got some lamb leg. It looked fresh in the first look but when I opened the plastic wrap it was some how brown and after 4.5 hours baking time, it was still hard like a rubber?. This was my first and last time shopping from Gandour. However the owner was a nice guy.

β β β β β I've shopped here and gave them a chance to mature and improve dozens of times. My general experience is that the owner has zero social skills and horrendous customer service. The cleanliness is questionable too given the smell and how many times I've been handed a bloody receipt and shopping bag after they handled meat without gloves and didn't wash their hands when they came to ring me through at the cash register. I've also called to ask a simple question before and the owner hung up on me without even bothering to answer it. So classy. Don't waste your time or money here, there are other halal butchers, and convenience stores in the city.

β β β β β Meat always smells and the store owner closes early and doesnβt follow posted store hours.
Bad customer service, the owner is rude and they wouldnβt even cut chicken which I donβt understand - this is a butcher right?
Terrible hygiene standards do not recommend this place at all.

β β β β β Called to ask for a particular Persian bread, he began speaking Farsi, I explained that I donβt speak it and he was incredibly rude, asking me why Iβm asking about Persian bread. Racist and rude behaviour from this store owner. I wonβt be supporting such a blatantly racist shop and wonβt recommend it to anyone.
