Great hike for an easy afternoon hike. Great views along the ridge. The trail was quite icy so crampons are a must in the winter and springtime.

A very beautiful lookout once you get to the very top . My kids loved it,(8 and 6), they are not fun with the steep long hill as we started that side but they still managed to finished it. Very busy loop, but better go early if you’re not fun of busy trails. Highly recommend it to beginners as well.Lots of small bridges to passed and small creeks along the way. Don’t forget to bring lots of water to hydrate and snacks for kiddos and for yourself, you all needed it.Have fun and enjoy the view at the top.

This was a enjoyable experience. I went with people who loved hiking and people who never hiked. It was challenging bur not too challenging and the view from the top was great. When you get back to the bottom there is some water to dip your feet in across the road which ended it perfectly.

Perfect for families and larger hiking groups. For an easier loop, go counter-clockwise.

Nice views into the valley from the ridge. We did it counterclockwise so we climbed up to the ridge first which is pretty steep with loose dirt in areas when dry. Then took milder descent through the forest after leaving the ridge.

The view is worth it! Wide trails but some elevation-Advice--when you cross over a metal gate/bridge keep walking straight and you will make a long loop with a gradual climb to get to this view-if you turn left to go up the stairs you're in for a steep climb on loose rock/dirt. You get to the view faster but its more strenuous. Going the long way results in the steepest part being downhill. I wouldn't recommend this trail for kids under 5 to walk, or for people with mobility issues.

Great little hike! We did it clockwise, so the steeper climb was at the beginning and the views were fabulous! And added bonus, there is nice little stream at the very beginning / end of the hike for the pooch to have a drink and cool off ? Poles are not necessary, but if you have mobility or stability issues, might be worth while.

Did the loop counter clockwise as it's less steep. About 7 km round trip, Was a bear in the area But kept his/her distance. Beautiful little hike.
