Lots of logging going on now, so watch for equipment and trail closures. Kinda hoping they leave some of the logging roads when they’re done.
Lots of trails getting closed in the area, not sure what’s up with that, but hopefully they will either build new ones or reopen them.
The staging area can get very busy at times so please watch you speed, we all want to get out and have a fun day safely.
Lots of wildlife in the pluz to watch and enjoy, even had some grouse try to run us out of areas! Haha
Once off the main roads ( 1km as the crow flies )
there are lots of safe places to shoot clays or “sight-in” the rifle.
Very little cell phone service unless you are up high so be prepared, it could mean a long walk back ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nearby to Calgary, Cochrane, and Canmore you can find some amazing views with some awesome trails along with plenty of wildlife! Beautiful area to explore, ride a horse or OHV, or even bike and hike! Plenty of unique places to see and animals to stumble across. I’ve seen deer, moose, and even bears over the years.
