★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very easy hike. Great for beginners or a short family activity. Since this is also a popular biking destination, it can get a bit crowded with bikers. There aren't a ton of great views, but it is still very fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it's a lovely spot for a chill hike within the trees. there were some very friendly birds going on the north path first about 10 mins in. lots of exploitative areas. there's a fair bit of mud today but easily side stepped off the path a bit. my 3 year old was able to handle 90% of the hike. towards the end I needed to carry her the rest of the way - shes an active one. would do again. we went on a Monday and only encountered 1 other person with their dog (on leash).
