★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for mountain biking. Unfortunately due to no fault of its own it’s within the Kananaskis pass area. Make sure to get that or risk fines. Otherwise it’s got a wide array of trails for biking, hiking, horseback riding and much more. Always a nice place to make you feel like you’re not near the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great get away from the city, packed with great trails for all types of equipment and horses. Moose loop is a really easy hike and takes roughly 30-45mins on a mountain bike. Can’t wait to try telephone loop one of these days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trails for every skill level and type of user at this location less than an hour by car from Calgary. The parking lot has been quadrupled in size in recent years, and paved as well. There's a separate parking lot for equestrian users. There are also washrooms. There is only one parking spot for handicapped users, at the West end of the lot, but usually there are many empty spaces one could use if needed.
Access to the east entrance of telephone loop trail from the parking lot is problematic for wheelchair users or adaptive bike users due to all the parking lot cement blocks with only narrow spaces between them. Look for the big metal dumpsters near the Western and of the parking lot to find a way through onto the trail.
Another note for adaptive bike users: telephone loop is most certainly not a green trail, as there are endless short steep slopes both up and down, with substantial cross slope in places. A better choice for these users would be hostel loop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for a walk/ hike with crampons that day. The weather was perfect. Unfortunately not enough snow throughout trail for snowshoeing that day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staging area for a day on the trails. Bike or hike, there's lots of options. Been several times, and found new adventures each visit! Just remember it is part of the new Kananaskis County permit program.

Well maintained and marked trail
Around 9 k walk with gradual ascending.
Overall all good.
