I came there early November while visiting Kelowna from Nelson and I was looking for the whole XC skis and Skate skis set ups. Unfortunately they didnt have enough gear, but i was helped by a wonderful knowlegeable and friendly lady named Jenna and I got to learn so many things from her about the skis set up! I ended up buying XC shoes because that was the only thing in stock and I am super happy with my experience in this store.

As and longtime skier & competitive triathlete, Fresh Air has always been my go-to place for swimming, biking, running & everything outdoors. Everyone there is so incredibly knowledgable & passionate about the quality products that they offer. For me, what really sets this store apart is the amazing service & friendly staff who really want to make sure you are equipped to succeed & perform at your best whether it is competitively or recreationally. Thank you Fresh Air for being one of my biggest supporters! I absolutely love the new Trek! You guys are the best shop in town!

There were about 7 staff and no other customers. I was there for about 10 minutes trying to find ski pants. Not one staff asked me if I needed assistance. I did need assistance but no one offered so me and my money left.

There’s a reason every ski and snowboard instructor in the area who is serious about their job goes here. I spent about 90 minutes in store today having some custom footbeds fitted by Johnny. Great guy, super friendly, knew exactly what needed to happen to give me the greatest amount of comfort and performance. You might think as you walk into the store that all the staff are on the younger side and you’d be right, but don’t let that fool you. In the 90 minutes or so I sat getting fitted not one member of staff was standing around doing nothing. Everyone was engaged in their job, helping customers, giving good advise or just being friendly and welcoming to the people already being helped out. The guy at the desk learned my name and used it even once I’d left and come back after an hour, I think that’s a nice touch. In short it’s a great shop with a great team and whoever owns it should be proud to have them. Cheers, Dane

We were just helped by a young gentleman in the snowboard section, his knowledge and passion shined through while chatting with us. With a great sale and amazing customer service my boyfriend and I both walked out with new boards we love! Thanks so much!

Super ignorant and rude staff. After calling ahead and explaining exactly what I needed, I did a 2 hour round trip to drop off a bike crank for repair. Got a message the next day to tell me they couldn’t do it and had no idea why I thought they could. No apology for wasting my time/ gas, and no responsibility taken. Store is run by guys who have no idea what they’re talking about re. bike repair and incapable of even basic tasks. Harvey; I was explicitly told by 2 of your staff members that it would be no problem to conduct the repair I require. So don’t twist the truth here. And the quote you gave me is for a NX crank that has a different spindle length and diameter to my crank and would not fit. Funny that I know this but your β€œhighly trained” technicians do not. Not to mention the quoted price is about twice what the part costs. You can call me anytime to offer me some gas money and explain why your staff aren’t trained, and why you can’t put a insert into a thread like any competent bike shop does every week of the year. You have my number. Almost seems like you’re just trying to save face on Google, weird…….

We rented skis for the season for my son (age 14) and my international student. The service was very good but after fitting my son I was informed that we would have to pay adult prices because he was in adult size boots and skis. This pricing info was not disclosed on the website, it simply states that the kids price is about $90 less than adult prices. I spoke to the manager and mentioned they might want to include this on the website that if a child is big for their age then they would have to pay adult prices. The manager kindly offered to refund me the difference, but after 3 follow up calls to the store manager I was still never given the refund. This is poor management in my opinion. It's too bad because the service we got from the girl for the fitting was exceptional. Update- Fresh Air contacted me and issued the refund :)

Felt compelled to write a review after my fabulous experience with Devon today. He is a such a wealth of knowledge and a real asset to your team! He provided an incredibly thorough boot fitting, and was able to advise on boots, poles and bindings to enhance my experience as an advanced all-mountain skier who likes to mess around in the park. Don't be fooled by his age. His product knowledge is amazing... especially when it comes to freestyle gear. Bought skis from you guys online on a whim and am SO happy I stopped by in person to shop for the rest of my kit. Big thank you to Devon... I highly recommend you stop in to see him and the rest of the crew! A+.
