How would you describe the Founder’s Forum?
In my experience, Founder’s Forum has created the space for me to be a successful entrepreneur when otherwise it might have been impossible. It is a place when I can collaborate with like-minded entrepreneurs and discuss whatever is happening on my journey towards being a successful entrepreneur.
What value had the Founder’s Forum and the Freedom Café team brought to your business?
There are 1,000 steps on the path from having a great small business idea, to turning that idea into a successful, revenue-generating business. Some of the most obvious steps include:
- Getting feedback and encouragement at the initial stages, as the business concept is being put into words
- Once the concept is vetted, then there are all the logistical steps of registering the name, setting up a bank account, thinking about bookkeeping, thinking about legal issues, maybe renting space …
- Ultimately, every business (large or small) requires a lot of different skill sets to be successful, from sales and marketing, to accounting, to Internet and social presence skills …
In short, Founder’s Forum has provided a team of people with a variety of skills, to complement the skills that I bring to my business.

People will benefit from the Founder’s Forum who have a reasonably viable business idea; who are willing to be coached and work as part of a team; and who are willing to work hard at the business of running a small business.
