Bill does AMAZING paint work and they have the largest game space I've seen in k-w so far, with regular games and events scheduled. Good selection of minis, bits, sourcebooks, cards, and boardgames, easy to get to location, and pretty accessable.
J	Jesse Talon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into Phoenix awhile back since I was interested in checking out how the different game shops compared to one another. Now I've heard good things and was told that the owner was friendly and helpful and that events here were run very well. However, I went in when no such events were going on so it's hard to judge. The stock wasn't extensive, but understandable considering the shop size and their intended customers, however I was unable to find many singles for the card game I play and found the pricing to be much higher than other competitors in the area. I would have rated higher simply based on the comparative size and style of the shop but when I visited there were 2 people who I would assume were working at the time (hard to tell due to lack of store uniforms) and found that the two people there seemed to be more heavily invested in a game of warhammer(?) than helping me out. I felt as though I had to interrupt their game to ask questions and was left to my own devices to find what I was looking for. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if it were busier but I was the only other person in the store at this time. I decided it would be smarter to make my game related purchases elsewhere. I may check in to Phoenix again at a later time to see if any improvements are made and will be hopeful. I do want to like this store since they do have a very good reputation for holding events but based on my initial experience it will be some time before I visit again.
A	Adrow1x on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More like a gaming club than a simple store. Bill stocks the essentials and is able to order specific items if asked. You'll always get a call when the stock arrives so you're not left wondering. If you don't have you're own group, Bill runs Magic, D and D, 40 k and other Games Workshop systems. There is a decent sized area and a number of tables available to use. Bill is an expert miniature painter and does commission work at a reasonable rate. He's also helpful when it comes to tips and advice, I like to drop in and pick his brain when working on a new project, using a new product or technique.

Great tables for gaming and painting and a great source of tabletop minis, hobby supplies and board games. Always a pleasure to visit; I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in wargaming or board games!

The store itself is rather small and almost exclusively focused on Warhammer games but that is to make room for actual play tables which can be hard to find especially in COVID times. They also run Magic the Gathering and in pre COVID had Adventurer's League D&D. I found the staff friendly and willing to answer questions.

Plus the staff are always helpful and friendly especially if you're interested in starting something new and don't know where to start. They have a great selection and anything they don't have, they will do their best to get it to you, and they won't overcharge you!
